of course when you are drinking at a bar next door to the dollar general, a store at which everything is generally a dollar, the time may come when you decide to take a trip there right before closing, to buy some gooey, liquid filled egg toys that have the weight and feel of a ballsack, because: duh.
well, that time came for me and i was stuck in line behind either a couponer who was disputing the charges and a crazy tweeker with two carts full of stuff. as you all may know, i love standing in line for this exact reason... shopping interactions amuse me to no end. the cashier apologized for the wait and the tweeker lady felt so bad that she bought my bag chocolates and jar of peanut butter on her food stamp card. she couldn't pay for the ballsack eggs because they weren't food products.
she told me to pay it forward.
i will, nutty tweeker, i will.
DTTMMH: Hubby and I swam with whale sharks and manta rays today at the aquarium. It was amazing.
My hubby is home from Guam! He was completely shocked when we pulled up to the house and there sat a new Ford Raptor with a big red bow. He was totally clueless that I got it for him. :)
Dttmmh: I've clicked really well with a chick from one of my meet up groups. We've really connected and we've bonded over some personal stuff. We text constantly and this week we're seeing each other 3 times:). Also she's super sweet and sent me a plant & chocolate post surgery! She's also been willing to drive me to girl's night, which is great because sometimes I'm too low energy to drive.
Saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Steve Winwood at the PPL center in Allentown last night.
Great concert ... the crowd ranged in age from 20s to 60s .... the power of music. Love artists who "get" their audience and give full out performances .. Petty was on stage for an hour and 45 minutes after a ninety minute set by Steve Winwood.
"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves" .. Confucius
"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation " ...... Henry David Thoreau
i spent three hours in class today drawing pictures of bones. i found out two things: 1) i'm really good at drawing pictures of bones, and 2) some of the bones i was playing with were not, in fact, plaster replicas, but actually came out of people who were alive at one point. i mean, i noticed that some of them looked more real than others, but i just thought that they were really good fakes.
To this born and bred gal from Kansas City....

I wonder how many STD's Tinder is responsible for sharing.
