One good thing came from Sonya's death though. Her mom and I have become closer. In fact, I call her mom now. Also, I reunited with my other cousin. We hadn't talked in 15 years. Sonya's death brought the family back together.

In case you are confused, Sonya and I were cousins by birth. Our moms were sisters. A year after my mom died, her mom married my step dad. That's why we always told everyone that we were cousins by birth, but sisters by choice.  :-)

Us three cousins were all born in the same year, raised together,  and even all had our first babies the same year too. Thankfully, I am now reunited with the third musketeer.  :lol:

Its just nice when the pain from grief starts to ease into fond memories of the person.  Its good to be able to have a conversation about them without getting upset. 

I have tons of relatives and friends that i call cousins or sisters.  Hell my best friend is more like a sister than my own sister is :P

Spending a quiet evening at home.
I just ate dinner: a 6" Chicago style pizza with tomato basil sauce (regular red sauce and pesto mixed together) with black olives and sliced tomatoes. Also, a salad with red cabbage, spinach, romaine, mushrooms, tomato, black olives, mozzarella, and croutons with vidalia onion vinaigrette dressing. Also, a diet coke. Just took a clonopin and am watching the Simpsons. AAAAHHHHH.  :-D

POINT MARION, Pa. (AP) — A 17-year-old is in police custody after an 85-year-old woman held him at gunpoint and forced him to call 911 after police say he broke into her home.

Leda Smith says she heard the boy break into her home about 3 p.m. Monday. She says she grabbed a .22-caliber revolver she started keeping by her bed when a neighbor’s home was burglarized a few weeks ago. She lives in Springhill Township, about 45 miles south of Pittsburgh.

Smith says she made the boy call the police and then held him at gunpoint until they arrived. Smith says the incident was “exciting” and she’s hoping it ends a string of burglaries in the area.

The boy will be tried in Fayette County Juvenile Court. He’s not being identified because of his age.
