Dogs have land?
Up is down! Left is right! Sand is wet and water is dry!
You live in Wonka's factory.
DTTMMH: After standing on line in the sun for 3 hours, I go into the courthouse and I'm out in 5 minutes. My ticket was dismissed by the clerk. I didn't even talk to anyone or do anything. I just showed it to him, he punched it up, and told me it's dismissed and I'm done.
I did notice that white people either don't get tickets, just pay them when they get them, or it's a mix of both. Out of like 80 people only 2 were white, and only about 25% spoke English. Good times.
Man, I know this is a scam. I bet I have a warrant for my arrest right now. I am gonna carry that dismissal around with me, no lol. Even though if the cops run my name and a warrant comes up, they're arresting me anyway, no matter what I show them; who am I kidding? But if I keep this copy, at least I have something to show them when the warrant squad kicks in my door at 6am.
Shit, I was supposed to be happy. I'm doing it wrong.
When someone is just an all around asshat and you get to see little bouts of Karma rain on their parade from time to time.
On the McKayla topic: this made me extremely happy: http://mckaylaisnotimpressed.tumblr.com/
cracked me up.
You guys have ticket troubles, too.
Kidding. That doesn't make me happy. It makes me sad, because it's only for revenue.
DTTMMH: Today is day two of the lawyer advertisement shark swarm in my mail box. I found one who has a 100% traffic court success rate, and he's only going to charge me $50 for his services. Raleigh's court costs are $188 + $25 fine for my ticket, so his $50 offer is a nice catch for me. He has great reviews on the NCState and Duke boards. That tells me he's able to get a lot of young foolish drunk kids out of their DWIs. My speeding ticket should be no problem according to him. Whew.
These are just from yesterday:

i just saw on the tv that broken parking meter tickets in LA are a go. it's against the law to park at one. back in the day, there was a parking attendant who gave me a ticked at the meter in front of my apartment every saturday, even though the sign said EXCEPT WEEKENDS and holidays. after the second weekend, i left a sign on the car asking him to read the sign posted directly above my car before writing a the ticket. he gave me a ticket anyway.
of course, i called to complain about him and wrote a letter to contest the three tickets. one of the tickets was dismissed and the other two held. 'blah, blah, blah... on careful inspection, you were found to be at fault in this matter, blah, blah, blah.' wait, the same officer, the same infraction, the same day of the week and the same exact time in the morning and you dismiss one and keep the other two? apparently in a book somewhere that i don't have access to, that meter is listed as fair game at that time and the sign didn't reflect the book.
i could've paid the tickets, gone to court 4 times for them, brought the dismissed ticket and photos of the signs and maybe got them dismissed... but instead i just threw them in the trash and let them pile up into an eventual suspended license.
see ron? white people do get tickets and don't pay them on time. although i may be the exception to the rule.
i've also had the city come by and put up a sign above my car at a row of broken meters and then give me a ticket all while i was away for the night.
well, ok! but let's see what happens when i do...... this!
Wow! I am in shock. Or maybe it's just you. Haha.
I would like to mention that one of the times I got a warrant, it was cause I got a notification about a ticket in the mail, and I fucking ignored it cause it wasn't me. Disobeying a green arrow in Brooklyn? I didn't drive at the time, and I hadn't been to Brooklyn in over a year. I think someone found my ID when I lost it, and was driving around acting like they were me. Either that, or the conspiracy is seriously on.
gang-stalking.
well, ok! but let's see what happens when i do...... this!
Please. If it wasn't for revenue, then for what? The more money I give these people, the less of a charge I'll have to carry. If it was for "safety" there would be no paying my way out of it.
I'm not anti-cop, but I'm not like "ohmygod, they're all superheroes!", either (same with military and my husband is *in* the military).
Someone was calling my house in the middle of the night making threatening remarks like "I'm going to eat you", "I'm going to chop your kid up into pieces and feed her to my dog", etc. a few weeks ago and at first I was freaked out and called the local police's non-emergency line. I told the cop what was going on and that I was scared because I'm here all alone with my husband across the world. He basically laughed at me and told me to go back to bed. Fuck that. I don't call the cops for the hell of it. I needed some reassurance, maybe a drive-by from a patrolman in the area, anything but to be mocked.
Let me speed in one lane on a clear interstate and they're all over my ass.
I'm not impressed.
Thank you! Holy shit, it's not much to ask for a little honesty! I really wonder what kind of dealings the "OMG THEY'RE ALL SUPERHEROES" people have had with police! Cause it ain't the experiences I know, or have heard about.
Fuck, you are so right!
bowie needs one of these.![]()
i've been told by a cop that i knew that there is definitely a 'if you;re not a cop, you're the enemy' mentality... cops and their groupies are in good. if you're a cop, a cops wife, kid, buddy, then you only associate with other cops, cops wives, cops kids, etc. if you're not in that group, you will always be a potential suspect of something.
i've had some pretty fucked encounters with them, but i've also had some unreasonably good experiences so i'm meh about it. i find it hard to be all, 'fuck da police!' because they have been nice on occasion (mostly because i am very polite and non-confrontational when dealing with them and i also look like an innocent librarian), but also because i know i'm not equipped to handle some situations that i may have to call them for one day. i also try hard to understand that everyday may be their last and every interaction they have with anyone, even myself is potentially deadly. that has to weigh in on their psyche in some way.
well, ok! but let's see what happens when i do...... this!
Meh. They come after the fact and treat you like a suspect, even when you're the one that called them.
I mean you can call them cause your kid got kidnapped, or cause you got raped and they'll run your name for warrants.
Love this from Frank Serpico:

Most white plainclothes police patrolling the streets of Harlem or the Bronx seem to take for granted that every black or Hispanic male "knows" they are cops, while at the same time assuming that just about every black or Hispanic male is a likely suspect of some misdeed. When I was on the force, cops responding to a call for police assistance in a dispute involving a white and black man would invariably approach the white guy asking, "What's the problem, sir?" I remember one black man saying shyly, "I am the one who called."
If a job is too much for you to handle, then find another fucking job. I really don't have a pity party for these fuckers. They are armed, and have the backup of the biggest, most well trained and well armed gang in the city. Boo fucking hoo.
I don't hate them, but I'm not much of a fan, and I hate the pity party.
Sounds legit.![]()
This to me is a pigs mentality in a nutshell.
On Friday Cops Waited In Alley For 2 Hours Before Arresting NBA Star Matt Barnes was a top story. Here is the recap: (TMZ) The police officer who arrested ex-LA Lakers star Matt Barnes waited in an alley for 2 hours ... waited for Barnes to exit a restaurant, and then charged the b-baller with felony resisting arrest -- even though Barnes never got physically violent ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Barnes had a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear on a ticket for driving on a suspended license. Sources say Barnes had gone to the DMV, gotten his license reinstated, and mistakenly believed he no longer had to go to court to clear the ticket.
Now here's where it gets strange. Our law enforcement sources say the arresting officer KNEW Barnes had an outstanding warrant as he watched the NBA forward and his baby mama park their car in a lot Monday night -- and walk a block-and-a-half to MB Post, a popular restaurant in Manhattan Beach, CA -- yet the cop did not approach the hoopster. Instead the officer waited in an alley near the car.
Witnesses say 15 minutes later, Barnes walked back to the vehicle in plain view of the cop. According to witnesses ... Barnes got something from the car and returned to the restaurant. Again, the officer watched but did nothing.
Nearly 2 hours later, Barnes and his chick left the restaurant and he signed autographs and posed for pictures as they walked to the car -- as they approached the vehicle the cop pounced and told Barnes he was under arrest, but didn't say why.
We're told Barnes already had one hand behind his back as he attempted to hand his gf the keys with his other hand so she could drive home. Sources say the cop grabbed the hand with the keys and the Lakers champ pulled away. The cop then immediately informed Barnes he would be charged with resisting arrest.
A police official for the dept. initially claimed the basis for the resisting arrest charge was a verbal threat allegedly made by Barnes, but we've learned the charge will be based on Barnes pulling his hand away.
Law enforcement sources say Barnes was NOT intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
It's unclear why the officer chose to wait 2 hours before busting Barnes
Bored ass mother fucking cops, they have nothing better to do than to waste time while there are other things going on. There are one thousand better places where they need to be.. they can just wait all damn day in one spot and arrest 20 people in 1 park. But no. Fuck those areas that need it.
when i was mugged, punched in the face and knocked out next to my car, the cops i flagged down left me there because i wouldn't stop crying...
well, ok! but let's see what happens when i do...... this!
