thinking about the times I used to lay on my roof top and look at the sky.
I'd lay there looking up, wondering what I'd be like... now.
sorry old me. this is what you got.

Definately not a dumb thing, but the Wee One is home from college. Haven't seen her in over a year. Have a house full of [s]kids[/s] mature young people.
:-)
Yay! I just got a call back on a job i really want. Interviewing tomorrow at 10am. :-D :-D :-D :-D It's a bit dumb to be happy about such a nerve raking experience.
But this comes 1 day after i realized my 24 month car loan, was actually a 45 month car loan.... So that whole YAY HALF WAY DONE WITH PAYMENTS feeling i had, Yeah... That went right out the window. They own my soul.

Denzel is good but you can't top Walter Matthau and Robert Shaw. I love that movie. Heard the new one is surprisingly good though.

I never saw the original, but I am so excited to see old New York City. I love that about these 70s movies!
I have been reading articles about it, and they keep stressing how the tone is so different because the city is SO much different now. In the 2009 version, at first it's assumed to be terrorists responsibe for the hijacking. :|
Well, they are terrorists, but you know the kind I'm talking about.
Speaking of which, how you holding up over there man? Gonna be back soon.......

It's classic 70's new york cinema, like Dog Day Afternoon. It's also the movie Tarantino stole his Mr. pink, Mr.Blue, Mr. Brown, etc.. for Reservoir dogs from.
Yeah I'm hanging in there. I'll be home in a little over two weeks and that is definitely a not so dumb thing that makes me happy :-D

I didn't know the Mr. Brown thing. Interesting.
I have a copy of Dog Day Afternoon here now that I have been slacking on watching. I better get on it.
Speaking of NYC in th 70s/80s, I saw a Guardian Angel on the subway last night.
At first, I thought it was just some dude with the t-shirt who's as legit as me wearing a SECURITY shirt in a strip club. But it was the real deal. Had the hat and everything!
See you in a few weeks. I gotta get to booking the hotel, but we're gonna be there.

And I know it would be worth it. It is really tempting. Maybe after the baseball game is over. I won't be able to forgive myself if something happens and I miss it. (it's in extra innings)
