it's still 1.79 at the gas station I work at. But 6 miles north it's in the 1.50's. You can go across the bridge over to either Missouri or Kentucky and get it for in the 1.40's. I went over to Missouri yesterday, and it was 1.42.
But for my bosses being evil hags, noms being epic high, and gas $.29 higher than everyone else, we have an alarming amount of traffic. And at 1.79, it only takes me about 15 to fill up. I don't have a big fancy ride.

We had a place like that in my hometown, off RT 66. They'd kill you with kindness. They only were open about four hours a day for the breakfast crowd. Breakfast was never more than $6, and whatever you ordered, they cooked enough of it to satisfy 3 people.

sounds like the same type of place i went to. i drove straight threw from SF, to middle of NM on my way to TX and pulled over to eat breakfast in NM on I-10. place was small, only open a few hrs, and the owners were beyond nice. shit, i wanted to stay and hang out! :lol: the eggs were fresh from the chickens out back. the bacon was fresh from the pigs out back. they even made their own cheese. fresh made and baked biscuits, the whole 9. best breakfast i ever ate. 2nd best was from this lil breakfast joint up n Mystic, Conn.
