Im happy that my headache is going away due to the super strong, super sweet tea that my grandma made me. Mmmmm.
The asst. director at my son's daycare told me today that I look like Linda Evangelista. She must have been totally high because there is NO resemblance, but I don't get compared to a supermodel every day.
these arent really dumb but im too lazy to look for the things that make you happy thread. so here are my happy things today;
1). my dad buying me 125.00 a piece Eagles tickets for their 9/20 show here in St. Louis and they are one of my ALL-time favorite bands. im still upset i prob. wont ever see Messiner play with them again. oh well
2). upgrading my phone service contract and getting a brand new cell phone for free and its acutally kick ass and not shitty
3). going to a different towns fazoli's for fazoli's fridays and having some GOOD ass fazoli's. it was unreal, i don't even think they use the same food. this one, the bread sticks were AMAZING, every single one and the chicken parm, was unreal. now i go to fazoli's on Friday with everyone from my work but we had a meeting in a different towns location, so we ate there today and HOLY HELL it was so good.
4). it's payday?? duh that makes everyone happy
5). and im off this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's totally not my type.
That I'm going to the beach today.
That I just got back from the best bbq. It was pouring with rain and we were sat under a gazebo. We set a fire ion the fire pit and it was awesome.
Anyone who says onions make you cry has clearly never been hit in the face with a turnip.
My silly little family.....
My mom is on the back porch reading a dirty book, my daughter is on the PC in the living room playing a game, I am on the front porch on MDS. We're all quite content in the moment and that makes me happy.
That my kid is asleep for the night.

It was so cool. We burnt everything we could find that was disposable.
It was a great feeling, sitting under the gazebo watching the fire, with the rain pelting down. If we arrange to do something, we still do it no matter what the weather.
Plus my friend is a great cook and the food was awesome. :2smiley:

The show Ninja warrior. I fucking ADORE that show.
I got my house cleaned before noon so now I can just relax and have a great Sports filled day with no guilt.
Not a dumb thing but, the fact that yesterday was the one year anniversary of my sister's death and I somehow made it through without falling apart. That probably has a lot to do with the fact that I didn't drink at all yesterday. I knew that I would jag if I did.
I also called mom and we both had a nice talk about her and neither of us cried.
Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it.
