PushinDaisies is one of my absolute favorite shops online.

    http://www.pushindaisies.com/candypr...ts/default.asp

They have everything from 10oz. anatomically correct hearts made out of solid milk chocolate to skull head toilet brush holders, just about anything you could imagine.

And they ship everything in a cute cardboard coffin shaped box.
avoid using question marks, as they remind people of hook-handed serial killers.

I think PCP posted this first and I have it bookmarked but always forget to check it. I think they have just one item a day but it's at a really good price.

I didn't feel like starting my own thread. My mom wants a cookbook for Christmas, and I want to get her the best one, but know nothing about cooking. Any suggestions welcome.

Is she a good cook or a beginner? What type of food does she like?

My family really loves cooking. If you want a classic cookbook, have a look at anything by Elizabeth David (French Provincial Cooking is an especially good one). For a contemporary classic, maybe something by Yotam Ottolenghi? I could live on his recipes forever and be happy.

She told me the one she wanted. It's called The Farmhouse Rules by Nancy something. Thanks everyone for the input.

Do you guys think this bag is good/bad/ugly? Someone I know has a second hand one that's 'as new' and I'm thinking of buying it for a relatively low price compared to normal retail. My reason for this is that it looks like a good bag for work because it's large enough to fit A4 documents and all my other crap. I'm unemployed right now but I've just graduated and hope to find a 'real' job soon. Is this the sort of bag that a normal, well-adjusted, aesthetically conscious adult would wear? Or will I look like I have no idea what I'm doing? The second hand bag is still too expensive for me to buy just for the sake of it.

That's also how I feel so I ended up not buying it. I figured I could probably find a nice vintage one for half the price anyway.

Yeah. Good job. Hand bags ar one of the few pieces of clothing where a woman is allowed to express her personality and creativity in a business/grown up world. I can't see why anyone would pay money to appear drab and conformist.
