I said I hated corn but that's not entirely true. I enjoy corn on the cob but every other type of corn is horrible.

i've known enough people who had it dont that i wasn't too worried. 

the only thing they can do for me is to replace my lense.  way too scary and expensive.

I am finally a candidate this year. My parents offered to make it my graduation present, which is about in another year. I've only known one person who it wasn't successful for. I have the hardest time finding comfortable contacts, and looking at a computer hurts my eyes so bad (unless I'm wearing glasses). Which sucks because my job is all on a computer.

My boyfriend got Lasik and his eyes were perfect.  Now, less than 10 years later, they're declining again.  He needs it again, but no way we can afford it.  :|

That happened with my mom but she got 12 years out of it and was 50 when they started to decline. So I guess you can look at it as the natural progression. She got her's re-done, except they did so well the first time that it wasn't considered maintenance and had to pay for the full surgery. She said it's worth it though. Have you guys gone to the doctor to see if it could just be considered maintenance? If so, most doctors will charge a fraction of the cost.

Six weeks is too long to live in a hotel.  I miss my stuff, I want to sleep in my own bed and sit in my own chairs again.  :-(

It's a nice house, but it lacks the character of an older house like the one I had in Belgium, you know?  Tons of space, lots of land, huge deck... and no personality.  I'm not complaining though - it's in a community of custom homes so all the houses don't look alike and we're not all sitting on top of one another - the minimum lot size is 2 acres.  I'll use paint and color to give the place some personality.  I'm anxious to move in.  Anything to get the hell out of this hotel.

i totally would if i was in a place where i could have dogs, but they are not allowed in my apartment building at all.  hopefully she gets adopted soon.    i might ask around if anyone wants a dog, she isn't far away.  seriously heart breaking story.
