The show is about families. Otherwise there isn't much else that's similar.

Arrested Development was much more chaotic.

Nah, I got that. I agree. I just don't see why that would be a bad thing.

I mean if it was a watered down version of "The War at Home" I could see thinking that's pretty horrible, cause that show was pretty horrible. See? I can dislike things! I'm cool!

Eh, I love them both. For different reasons.

Ed Norton as the lead singer of Spandau Ballet was one of the funniest things I've ever seen

    I love them both too.

A fucking "If it ain't white it ain't right" t-shirt!?

Cam is the fucking best. That character cracks me up.
I'm about to squeeze in an episode before I start laundry while I eat lunch.

Tell me Mitchell and Cam aren't Nathan and Oscar from karaoke

Also let me know when you get to the season one finale with Mitchell in the house with the pigeon

Phil is my favorite character. I can get behind a character that always carries good intentions but can still screw them up.

My god, it's so bad. Like unbelievably bad. I always thought Steve Carrell was just a big part of a strong ensemble. Definitely not, the show needed his stupid ass

It really should have ended at that episode.

Office is horrible. I watch now to see how bad it can get. THat is entertaining in it's own right.

Parks is awesome! I loved how they used Jerry and Donna last night. They are both very underrated characters and should get more screen time.

Donna and Tom together are so fantastic. "Premium leather goods?" "Treat yo self!"

I was watching old eps online yesterday. The one when they go hunting is still my fave. Best scene ever:

LOL. Me too. I thought that what they had in common was dysfunctional families. Arrested Development was to the extreme (and hilarious), Modern Family doesn't push the envelope as much, which makes it less funny (to me).

One of my local movie theaters is doing weekly showings of the 2nd season, for free. And I plan to be there every week. Beer, Pizza, and The Walking Dead. I can't wait.

I hope Walking Dead doesn't mirror last season and start off kickass and then just turn to wet turds at the end.

I haven't watched anything while traveling except the season premiere of Boardwalk Empire. I have a lot to pick up on.... was curious about the Grimm series but it's getting horrible reviews. What a waste of a good idea.
