I haven't seen Willow in like fifteen years so I couldn't say. But Game of Thrones is more like a historical medieval epic than a fantasy. There are fantastical elements but for the most part, you can easily forget this isn't a historically inspired show.
The fantastical elements show up more as the books progress, but they all make sense in the grand scheme of the story. I'm really excited to see the other books adapted now that I've seen how faithful they were to the first one.Originally Posted by bowieluva

This episode of trueblood was pretty damn ridiculous, even for a season premiere. I mean that in good and bad ways.
