Anybody else excited about the premiere of V tonight?  I've been waiting for so many years for a return.

My bf was all excited to DVR it. I have no idea what it is.

False. I'm pretty sure we're the same age.

I just discovered Science channel! I'm not that big into TV, except for the couple reality shows I have to watch every week, but I can watch Science channel for hours to end. Just watched back to back Survivorman the other week and it's probably one of the best TV shows I've ever seen. They have lots of videos that can be watched at http://science.discovery.com/

I was!  I watched the premiere last night and I really enjoyed it.....how about you??  I thought Anna was GREAT!

Oh and I am totally trashed about shows like Intervention.  I really liked operation repo, they SAY it is real, but it isn't and it is totally re-enactments and I am disgusted by that!  :x

I thought the story was much better than the original.  But they moved things along way too fast. Like, suddenly it's three weeks later and already people are embroiled in this conspiracy against the visitors and vice versa.  They really should have turned it into a two hour long series premiere instead of rushing us through one.  As a result, the script was shaky in parts and a couple "why did this happen?" scenes.

I have hopes for it, though.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised it wasn't a two hour premiere.  I like the whole conspiracy thing, and feel they are doing a good job, I hope it can keep the momentum going.  I agree though two hours to set it up would probably have been better.  I felt like the guy leading the "resistance" came off as a fanatical wing nut and that kind of hurt; you know??

I just watched V.  Not bad.  I could see getting caught in the show while it lasts maybe 2 seasons.

My husband Joel does a great job on Community.  That actress plays Trudy on Mad Men, she's awesome, and gorgeous:
Aside from some people saying Mad Men is boring I've heard nothing else but positive things.  I have a hard time jumping in the middle of a lot of shows which is why I never got into Sopranos, Lost, and other super popular shows.

Chevy Chase is also great in Community.

Mad Men is fantastic. Netflix the DVDs and marathon it.  So worth it.
Added both season 1 and 2.  I'm only on a 1 disc at a time though so it will take a while to get through them.

Also added Breaking Bad because I've heard it pretty good too.

I'm working my way through season one of Breaking Bad on Netflix.  I really like it.  Mad Men is a bit slow the first few eps, but it really hits it's stride and is so good.

I watched one episode of Madmen and despised it. Maybe it was a horrible episode but I found the dialogue clunky and the acting to frankly be mediocre and stiff. About ten thousand cliched things happened in it too. I'm so sick of the sixties.

You slept with mike so he would ban me. change your sig..the pretentious look how hipster face is so old ooh you like guys with glasses..ooooh

I hate how all cooking shows act like any chef who is not from the U.S. is automatically superior.  Morimoto.
I miss real cooking shows.  Most of what's on food network anymore is either stupid reality shows or easy fix meals.  I still enjoy Good Eats though.

I haven't seen Modern Family, but I still think Community is one of the best new comedies.
