At first, I thought it was a joke, but upon closer inspection, I'd say they are dead serious.

I don't see a problem with it...and good for those women who do it!

Maybe it will help bring attention to this underreported problem

Hopefully it brings attention to the cause.  We'll see.

I think this is a fabulous idea. Not only will it hopefully bring attention to a huge problem, it also lets the women (and anyone else outside the pageant who has been affected) know that they are still beautiful.
