California Man Robbed of Tacos at Gunpoint

Oh....silly Californians..Those must have been some damn good tacos!!

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,331076,00.html

FONTANA, Calif. — A hunger for carnitas nearly led to some carnage after a Fontana man was robbed of a bag of tacos at gunpoint.

Police Sergeant Jeff Decker says the 35-year-old victim had just bought about $20 in tacos from a street-corner stand Sunday night and was bicycling home when the suspect confronted him and said "Give me your tacos."

Decker says the suspect grabbed the bag of food, punched the victim in the face and began to flee.

When the victim demanded his tacos back, the suspect pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the man and threatened to kill him before running away.

The robber must have been really hungry for tacos. Hope it was worth it.

Ahahaha... were there any witnesses? Maybe the victim got hungry and ate all the tacos on his way back to wherever he was bringing them ($20 dollars worth of tacos CAN'T be for one person!) and didn't want to admit to it.

And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

Well, he really wanted those tacos.

It reminded me of the guy who got 25yrs to life for stealing a slice of pizza http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Dewayne_Williams

When my brother was 12 he got robbed by a man with a hammer for $2 worth of hot chips.

    I blame low blood sugar.

I love how the guy kept fighting for his tacos until a gun was involved.

I wonder if this was a crime of opportunity or this guy planned it for months.

    Gun + no $$ = TACO theft!

I can't help it. It's an addiction. I've considered seeking help but at the end of the day, I just don't want to stop.

Hell 39c tacos. Especially when I'm drunk. I'll eat about 15 of those things.
