    Smilie system

I really hate it. Why does it delete your text if you try to add one at a sentence end? Naff

[/quote] that only happens on certain computer systems. If I weren't computer stupid, I would know the difference, but i am so i don't  All I know is that at my house the smilies don't effect my typing but at my mom's house it does.

I think if you get firefox, that will eliminate all your problems..and not just will the smilies. All your problems ever.

Good suggestion.  I have firefox and my smilies and text stay put.  Solves problems with ads, popups, etc too.

We should get some sort of commission from firefox for the amount of times it is suggested to people.

I believe that the smiley problem only happens with Internet Explorer and if you turn off spell check it should be fine.  I use Firefox, however, and with it, there is no smiley problem.  Also, it has it's own spell check, so I turn off MDS' spelling cow.  It seems to make MDS move faster for me.

    Re: Smilie system

I use IE at work and Firefox at home. I have the problem with smilies both places.
So IE v. Firefox isn't the issue.

Will turn off spelling cow at home and see if that helps.

Just memorize all the codes, and start using them everywhere. Its what I do.
Only Yahoo has a habit of messing up the smilies on the IM. Boo.
