Do his friends not know yet or something? There are no "RIP"s or "I'm gonna miss you"s or anything! Well, that one guy changed his headline but that's all I see...

Oo yeah, I'm smart. Well that sucks... see people, never put the settings on 'approve comments'!

Anyways, what a shame. He was almost done with school and seemed to have a lot going for him...

Such a waste. Well at least he appears to have lived a full life. How about his whole family getting the verichip? That's pretty forward thinking. I bet he would have made an amazing neurosurgeon.

FLORIDA
All riders 20 and Under are required
to wear helmets
Those 21 yrs. and older may ride without
helmets only if they can show proof that
they are covered by a medical insurance policy.

?!?!

That's utterly retarded. Helmets are a legal requirement in Australia (as are seatbelt in cars) for everyone, including passengers. I plan on getting a motorbike within a year, I'll I swear I'll be wearing bloody armour when I'm out riding...

Re: Derek Jacobs- motorcycle accident-death # 553

I've never understood how anyone would feel safe riding a motorcycle without a helmet (a lot of drivers don't seem to really watch out for motorcycles)... but then again, I've never worn a helmet when I ride my horse, so I'm a hypocrite.
