Oh dear Lord, I found this today.  He's only 9!  I have a 10 year old son and would die if anything happened to him!  His residence is in St. Louis, but he died in TX.

Sounds like they have only been in St. Louis for a little over a year.  Several people on his top friends are from Mansfield, TX.  They must have gone back for New Year's.  So tragic.

The man was identified as Daniel Dase, a Fort Worth insurance agent, and the boy was identified as Caleb Hays, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.  Dase owned a 2000 two-seat, 400 horsepower rotorcraft, according to federal aviation records.

I just saw the toddler one!  I already submitted a death I found on there.  I noticed there are quite a few elderly suicide victims.  Really weird.  I'm talking people that are pushing 80..one was on Valentine's Day.  I'm really curious about the backstory of that one.

Yea, I saw one suicide that was multiple stab wounds.  Listen, if I'm gonna kill myself, it ain't gonna be with a knife!

Caleb's dad is in the ministry with the Lutheran church.  Sometimes preachers have connections, ya know?  It's still sad and to think that his parents may have been standing there watching.  That's what nightmares are made of.

Well if it makes you feel better, the news said that there were no witnesses. Apparently they took off from an airport miles away from the crash site.

OMG I saw that too, ive been looking at that site since you posted it yesterday... LOL. These things are very habit forming for me, i have a VERY curious nature...

I was a founding administrator of The Doe Network (www.doenetwork.org) and researched every day of my life. After my son was born, it became a power struggle with a bunch of people that wanted to be the top "dog" over there and i left. I miss the "investigation" terribly and finding this place has given me something to research..lol. I still follow my UIDs though, and hope some day they all get names...

I used to love the doe network too but it definitely got to be a massive power struggle.  I haven't been there in yonks - what was your user name there?
