I don't get the big mystery here - this was a sloppy murder, there was tons of forensic evidence. I'm beginning to wonder if the Italian police are living in the 17th century. Here's my guess: The guy from Cote d'Ivoire takes the rap and "Foxy Knoxy" and Solecitto walk away scot-free. Why? Because the Italians will look at it like this - Solecitto is a native, Knox is a chick, and Rudy is just some black guy from Africa. Personally, I think all three were involved.
You are talking to a woman who has laughed in the face of death, sneered at doom and chuckled at catastrophe.

Did you see the itv doc "Foxy Knoxy" last night leap?
Seems like some more facts will surface soon.

I saw it. I thought it was kind of pro-Amanda. There was a lot of things they could have said to her parents that they didn't.
I also thought that her parents were having a hard time trying to deal with some of the interviewers questions.
I laughed when they tried to say she was a honor student and had different other accolades, so she couldn't have been using drugs.
If I remember her myspace page rightly, she mentioned smoking hash quite a lot. It was her own admission! I know parents don't want to believe what their kids are doing, but seriously, she admitted to the hash smoking on her page. It just makes them look deluded.

Sadly KimTisha, I reckon you are right.
I really hope that if they are all guilty, then they all go down. But even Guede and his lawyer is thinking its gonna go that way, hence him wanting a separate trial, to distance himself from them two ganging up on him.
I really hope the Italian Justice System doesn't think like that, I could see that still happening here in the UK, so why not in Italy? I don't know that much about Italy though...I must admit.
For the town it would be the easiest option, in that Meredith was murdered by a non-Italian nor a student either.....So people it is still safe to send your children to study in Perugia....kind of thing...Students are big business to them and they want them to still come over and study......So Guede being convicted would help solve the image problem Perugia now has after Meredith's murder.
I don't agree with any of the above btw.....I hope that the guilty are all punished, but for convience and image it will probably pan out like Kim Tisha says.

KimTisha nailed it. And from what I've heard, Italy's racism is worse than the UK. At least against the Blacks.
[/quote]
Yeah, I don't know why Ron, but that doesn't surprise me about Italy. :?
The UK still hasn't got its act together in stamping out racism for its judicial system, but I imagine Italy is worse.

I just got through reading 18 pages of this cluster fuck investigation. It's funny, after the 20/20 episode & some Amanda supporters came out, while they were kinda defending her on her confession, nothing was mentioned at all of Patrick. The man falsely accused of murder & held in jail...while all the evidence they had was Amanda saying he was there. If I read it right, she can get just as much time, if not more, for accusing him falsely. Which is a good thing.
Here is my idea what might have happened. The Knox girl & her slimeball lover were druggies & maybe got in debt to the dealer. From most accounts I have read both Amanda (I refuse to call her Foxy Knoxy) & the BF already seemed to have rape/murder fantasies(this coming from their very own myspaces, not media spew) before the crime. Maybe they decided to offer up sex with Meredith to the dealer as a way to straighten out their debts. Maybe he thought, going in, he would just be able to have sex with her...the other two had other plans, already coming to an agreement that if Meredith balked, they would kill her. This, to me, might explain why they tried so hard to protect the man. Even going as far as accusing poor Mr. Diya. I bet Knox thought if somehow her fucked up plan worked, the dealer guy would really be appreciative & the pay off would be good. Who knows with that crazy bitch.
I know it's a crazy theory, but shit with this nut fest anything is possible. And I truly hope that bitch gets extra time for slandering Patrick. The Italians are right on with their ideals about slander & America should make that a more punishable offense.

I was making a joke bigomet, in reference to her breaking out in song about stress. I guess I should not have amended my post and took out the other part. Simmah down man.
It is true people should never assume anything. But most innocent people don't lie & have an innocent man locked up. To me that's the second tragedy of this whole Fuck for all. Patrick & his family went through hell, and no matter what happens there will always be some asshole out there that will think he has something to do with this, regardless of what police say. I hope Amanda Knox gets all her time boxcard and she is locked up translating Italian love letters the rest of her pathetic life.
It made me sick seeing how Amanda Knox was portrayed by American TV & after reading her & her scuzz's myspace blogs myself before they were took down. Bitch was no saint or no damn victim....no more than Karla Homolka was a victim to her crazed bf. Woman are just as sick as men & sometimes they are the instigators.......just look at how many crazed woman have been out there cutting babies from other women's wombs. The media sure can paint a lovely picture...specially if the accused is some rich kid. Hell I saw a documentary the other day that would have made an unsuspecting person feel like Jeffrey McDonald didn't murder his family. Twisting shit is what the media does & they do it well.

Foxy Knoxy: I was bullied because everyone thought I was a lesbian
By Nick Pisa
Last updated at 8:08 AM on 22nd September 2008
The American woman suspected of sexually assaulting and murdering British student Meredith Kercher claims she was bullied at school because everyone thought she was a lesbian.
Court documents reveal how Amanda Knox, 21, plans to dismantle the case against her.
Knox - nicknamed Foxy Knoxy - will insist she was not at the house where Meredith, 21, was found last November but talking to her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito elsewhere about the taunts.

I think Rudy Guede is guilty as hell but Knox has lied so much and changed her story i'm not so sure how innocent she really is. I don't think she killed Meredith but i think she was there and knew more than she let on.
This trail might be going on for a long time, i wonder how Meredith's parents are coping with all this.

I am sure it is like a continual slap in the face for them. Every time they turn around this girl changes her story. All the while their daughter is dead and won't be coming back no matter what lies Amanda creates. I have a feeling she didn't need to lie, she may have been involved or may not have been but to continue lying is for the birds!
I bet the whole "Foxy Knoxy" name makes them(the parents) sick too. The bitch ain't all that & that name is blowing her already fucked up head up worse than it already is. She might not have actually did the murder but her fingerprint (in blood) on the girls face, is evidence the bitch was there. And her warped sick writings(before the murder) it seems the scene was right up her alley.
I have no sympathy for her & I bet you anything she loves all the attention she is getting...even brags about her Italian love letters........I truly hate this girl.

There was one thing that really bothered me about that first link:
I saw those bathroom pictures. They were a mess. I don't know how she could possibly take a shower with that blood all over, and why she wouldn't call the police immediately on seeing that. I just found that to be bizarre.Except they're not sure it's blood. It's possible, because there were traces of blood on the floor of the bathroom where Amanda took a shower. But the footprints only became visible with something called Luminol, which also reacts with other substances, including household cleaners.
So either way, here's what happened:
-- Amanda came home after spending the night at Raffaele's place.
-- She took a shower.
-- She left these footprints after she got out of the shower.

Good find. Now it's a Satanic Ritual Killing? What next?
Here's the article:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe...ef=mpstoryview
U.S. student accused of killing housemate in Satanic rite
ROME, Italy (AP) -- Italian prosecutors Saturday accused an American student of fatally stabbing her British house mate in a Satanic rite and asked a court to put an alleged African accomplice in prison for life, defense lawyers said.
Briton Meredith Kercher was found dead in her Perugia apartment last November.
Briton Meredith Kercher was found dead in her Perugia apartment last November.
The American, Amanda Knox, 21, proclaimed her innocence at the closed-door hearing in the Umbrian university town of Perugia and accused police of hitting her and calling her a liar during an interrogation, defense lawyers said.
At his lawyers' request, a fast-track trial is being conducted for Rudy Hermann Guede, the Ivorian accused in the case. He has acknowledged being in the bedroom where Meredith Kercher's body, stabbed in the neck and lying in a pool of blood, was found in November 2007 in the house she rented with Knox.
Fast-track trials sometimes result in lighter penalties. But prosecutors asked the court to convict Guede and mete out Italy's stiffest punishment -- life imprisonment. Italy has no death penalty.
The court deciding Guede's fate is also hearing arguments on whether Knox and her former boyfriend, Italian student Raffaele Sollecito, should stand trial for the slaying. A ruling is expected by the end of October.
All three suspects have denied wrongdoing.
Prosecutors on Saturday "laid out a scenario like from some crime novel," Sollecito's lawyer, Luca Maori, said by telephone after the seven-hour hearing.
Prosecutors "alleged it was some kind of Satanic rite, with Amanda allegedly first touching Meredith with the point of a knife, then slitting her throat, while Sollecito held her by the shoulders, from behind, Guede held her by an arm" and tried to sexually penetrate her, Maori said.
One of Knox's lawyers, Carlo della Vedova, told reporters that prosecutors had laid out "a presumed scenario" with no hard evidence to justify putting his client on trial.
Prosecutor Giuliano Mignini, contacted by The AP, declined to elaborate on his allegations Saturday about the slaying nor comment on his request for life imprisonment for Guede.
In the hearing, Knox "proclaimed her innocence, and got emotional when she recalled her interrogation by police in Perugia," another member of Knox's defense team, Luciano Ghirga, said in a telephone interview.
The lawyer denied Italian news reports that she wept, but said Knox was upset as she recounted "the pressure, the aggressiveness of the police who called her a liar."
Maori said Knox accused police of hitting her on the head during her questioning.

Italian TV showed a brief, partial view of Knox as she addressed the court. Only her hands, busily gesticulating, could be seen. There was no audio.
Knox and Sollecito, 24, have been jailed since shortly after the slaying. The pair have given conflicting statements.

'Amanda Knox Held Murder Weapon'
8:14pm UK, Saturday October 18, 2008
Amanda Knox stabbed Meredith Kercher with a knife while Rafael Sollecito and Rudy Guede held her down, a court in Italy has been told.
Murder victim Meredith Kercher
The claims were made as the prosecution finished summing up at a closed hearing in Perugia.
Knox denied the allegations and repeated her claim she was innocent of the English exchange student's murder.
The prosecuting lawyer asked for life for Guede, and for Knox and Sollecito to be sent for trial over Ms Kercher's death.
He also claimed the brutal killing was inspired by Manga comics.
Rudy Guede, 21, has opted for a 'fast-track' trial, while a judge still has to rule whether there is enough evidence against fellow suspects Amanda Knox and Rafael Sollecito for them to face a court.
Amanda Knox says she is innocent
The hearing into the death of 21-year-old Ms Kercher has also heard from a new witness.
In the new development, mechanic Gianfranco Lombardi told police he saw a dark-coloured car outside the house where Meredith was found dead.
The statement is significant because Sollecito has a dark-coloured car, but claims he was not at the house.
In his statement, Mr Lombardi said: "It was about 11pm on the night of November 1, 2007, and I was in the area because I had been called out to fix a broken-down car.
"When I got to Via Sant Antonio, close to where the house where Meredith Kercher was murdered, I saw a dark-coloured car parked outside and I noticed the gate on the drive was open.
"I didn't notice anyone in the car and I didn't notice anyone coming or going during the eight or 10 minutes it took me to load the broken-down car onto my tow truck."
Ms Kercher, from Coulsdon in Surrey, was found dead in the bedroom of the house she shared with Knox in Perugia in November last year.
She had been stabbed in the neck and her body hidden under her duvet.
Police believe she was killed by the three accused after they tried to make her take part in a sex game.
They say DNA evidence shows Knox, 21, and her boyfriend Sollecito, 24, were in the house at the time of the murder.
Guede, who admits being in the house and having sex with Ms Kercher, requested the 'fast-track' trial because he fears the other two suspects are trying to frame him.
Knox told the latest hearing she was innocent and would have no reason to kill Meredith as she was her friend.
Journalist Nick Pisa has told Sky News that Knox "broke down in tears" after protesting her innocence in the latest court appearance.
If Knox and Sollecito face a full trial it could take up to a year to complete. A decision is expected by the end of the month.
