Obituary

LIVERMORE ? Teyia Jean Vote, 17, of Livermore, passed away Sept. 30, 2005. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt with the Rev. David Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mason- Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Car accident caused by drink-driving?

The worst night ever,
Was Septemeber 30th, 2005
A lesson learned forever:
*Dont drink and drive..*

An accdient happens,
Which is so hard to understand,
I lost two good friends..
I just can't comprehend..

The worst feeling,
Is knowing they're gone..
I just keep thinking,
"Something went wrong"..

There's no possible way,
They were meant to be taken
But come what may-
Were all always mistaken..

The hardest part,
Was seeing the car..
It tore my heart,
To see where they last were..

As I stood there,
Looking where they sat..
I realized we all care,
And never will forget..

We are all in this together..
And we wish they were back..
But unfortanately remember,
We can't change the facts..

Remember the memories,
And the moments you shared
Forget about the bad times,
And the times you didn't care..

I know we all love them..
I know they are missed..
Through all of this-
Theres one thing to look forward to-
When you get to the gates of Heaven,
There they'll be, waiting for you..

So when you feel like you're going to cry,
And theres nothing you can do,
Wipe the tears from your eye,
And know they're saving a hug, just for you..

But don't remember that Friday,
As the day they left..
But remember the night in a good way:
As this-Never forget,

It wasn't how they left us..
Or how our hearts began to crack..
It was the day God decided,
To give his angels their wings back..
