is 16 the minimum age you can have a public profile with? is it automatically private if it's younger?
usually the trap profiles are about 13 or 14 years old, but they had to make it 16 so it would be public.
does any of that make sense? :|

I would hope a kid would be able to spell better than that by eight. I especially like the picture of the little boy where she's all "he's my maaan" and then under it, there's a comment from him saying "I don't like you but this is a sexy pic of me." Yeah I think 15 and under is automatically private. So yeah, that makes sense. I mean it's pretty blatantly obvious that those kids are no where near 16.

I don't think that they're stupid, I think they just don't care. Or don't think they'll get caught, or actually think that these kids are trying to be promiscuous. I have no idea, but judging by the fruits that show up on that "to catch a predator" show, 95% of them just don't care.

I would just think that if you're a pedophile, you're going to um, be interested in how little kids work/think, so you're going to be able to catch on to anything that seems so fake. But then again, you're right, it seems to catch them.

If it's a fake profile set up by perverted justice...the decoy uses their own pics from when they were younger. They also ask for people to send in pics and sign a release to use them. Maybe if it's cops, they use a female cops younger pics?

I used to work at a photo lab, and if we developed pictures like that, all the red flags would go up.
Which is an unexpected negative element of digital film: we did have a couple cases where we called the cops in because the pictures of children were totally inappropriate.
