    Shooting outside of Western Hills Plaza leaves 1 dead

    It doesnt say in the article who was shot. This hits very close to home.

    One person was injured and taken to the hospital after a shooting that occurred as a result of a fight that broke out in the parking lot of Western Hills Plaza in Westwood, and two others are in custody, authorities reported Saturday.

    According to the CPD Chief Teresa Theetge, the person was shot in the hip and taken to the hospital although she does not know their current condition.

    It's super scary when this stuff happens right around where you live. That's how I felt when that mass shooting happened in Monterey Park and then an attempted shooting with the same guy in Alhambra (my old town). It's spooky knowing that people are dead in places that you basically go to every day.

    Just be careful, Ang.
