Jealous ex-boyfriend shoots dead mother of seven, 39, at Chick-fil-A drive thru in Georgia before shooting himself
A mother-of-seven, 39, was brutally murdered by her 'jealous ex-boyfriend' - who then turned the gun on himself - while she was getting breakfast at a Chick-fil-A drive thru in Georgia.
Cassie Davis, in Rome at about 7am Wednesday morning when her deranged ex-partner Anthony Green shot her in broad daylight.
Davis was shot three times with a revolver. Her devastated family said Davis had revealed just a day before that Green 'wouldn't leave her alone.'
Rome Police have called the shooting an apparent murder-suicide.
They said that after Davis was shot her vehicle, that was in the pick-up lane of the drive-thru, rolled down an embankment, according to The Independent.
Green and Davis, both residents of Rome, are believed to have been in a domestic relationship in the past but it remains unclear how the relationship ended.
Davis' family described Green as a jealous person who couldn't let Davis go, but they admitted that they never thought he would kill her.
