    Cindy Williams, best known for her role as Shirley in Laverne & Shirley, dies at 75

    Williams died peacefully Wednesday at her home in Los Angeles after a short illness, her children said in a statement released by family spokesperson Liza Cranis.

    I have only seen a few episodes of this show when the TV had reruns but I remember it being pretty funny.

    This just makes me so sad. I introduced my Hubby to "Laverne and Shirley" for the first time only a few years ago. I guess we're finally at the point where everyone that played anything we've loved is just aging out and dying. So depressing.
