    Family members confirmed the news to TMZ, but did not reveal a cause of death. The actor was reportedly found dead at his home, though foul play is not suspected.

    I heard about this. My guess is either suicide or OD. They chew you up and spit you out. Dick Van Patten took him under his wing and bailed him out. He knew that the kid was damaged by the system. Poor guy.

    I wouldn't be shocked if it involved fentanyl. Sadly that seems to be the case more and more.

    Adam Rich's cause of death has been confirmed.

    According to a report from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office, Rich died on Jan. 8 due to "effects of fentanyl." The report listed the manner of his death as an accident.
