The Minnesota State Patrol said a fatal car crash happened early Saturday morning. It happened just after 1 a.m. near Holyoke, in Carlton County. Minnesota State Patrol said a 19-year-old, Kaden James Tuura of Duluth was driving the car, with a 14-year-old girl, Aubrey Suzzanne Tuura as a passenger.
Officials said the vehicle took a curve with poor road conditions, hit the ice, and lost control of the vehicle. Alcohol was not a factor and neither was wearing seatbelts."

Looking around, I found an explicative filled comment from his brother to the effect that he had a habit of "pushing his car"

Maybe I'm just showing my age, but what was a 14 year old doing out at 1am? Were they dating? He's 19 years old. I get when kids are in high school and meet and one ends up turning 18 before the other, but that's a five year difference and they wouldn't have met in school.

Sad for the victims and their families, but with all of that said it's not a far stretch to think that he might have been driving wrecklessly. He had a motorbike and an ATV according to his FB and we all know that kids aren't going slow and steady on those most of the time.

Ahhhh, okay. That makes me feel a little better about it. Still wouldn't have my 14 year old out at 1am, with her brother or not. Nothing good happens at that time of the night for young girls IMHO.

I wonder if they'll be able to tell if he was speeding or not. The fact that they were siblings makes this even harder for the family, I'm sure.
