Aaron Carter (34) Found Dead In Bathtub

Aaron Carter*has died ... TMZ has learned.

The singer-turned-rapper and actor was found dead Saturday at his house in Lancaster, CA ... multiple sources tell us Aaron's body was found in his bathtub. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they received a 911 call at 11 AM Saturday that a male had drowned in the tub.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... homicide detectives have been dispatched to the scene, but we have no information or evidence of foul play. It's standard operating procedure for homicide detectives to investigate such death scenes.

TMZ obtained a photo of sheriffs' cars and paramedics outside Aaron's home ... and the property is surrounded with caution tape.

Aaron shot to fame back in the late 1990s as a pop singer, releasing four studio albums, starting with his self-titled debut album in 1997 when he was only 9 years old.

After his first album sold a million copies, Aaron's second album, "Aaron's Party," tripled that number ... and from there he became a regular on Nickelodeon.

Aaron also used to tour with the Backstreet Boys during their heyday ... his older brother*Nick*was part of the hugely popular boy band.

AC transitioned into rap as his music career progressed ... and he also appeared on "Dancing With The Stars" and acted in the Broadway production "Seussical."

Aaron had tons of legal and substance abuse issues over the years ...*infamously going on "The Doctors"*a couple years ago and talking about all the pills he was taking. He also went to rehab numerous times.

AC is survived by his son,*Prince.

He was only 34.

YES. I watched that documentary not long ago with the boys that were in those bands and that asshole that drove them and tried to diddle all of them. Aaron was the only hold out trying to defend that piece of shit and I could tell that he was in denial. I'll say it. He was diddled by that fucker and ended up in a haze of addiction trying to block that shit out and now it's killed him. You can see that he was obviously fucked up. That poor kid.

Also, I don't just blame the diddler for all of this. It's the stage parents using their kids for money too.

Yeah, I was never really in to any of them and after hearing what created them it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm actually amazed that we haven't seen more stories like Aaron given the circumstances.

I have no idea, but I know that his relationship with his Brother was not great. In that documentary I mentioned above, his Brother spoke up about their manger, Lou Pearlman, being a con man and possible pedophile while Aaron vehemently defended the dude. They were at odds a lot, I think.

He was broke. Lancaster is Meth Central. I guess he wanted to live close to his dealer? It's literally the last place any celebrity would want to live. If you like the desert, then you would pick Palm Springs, but Lancaster. I honestly didn't even know that there were houses this big there. The only reason I see for it, is because real estate is dirt cheap (because it's all meth labs up there). This house would easily go for 3 million + closer to LA.

I watched the season of that boot camp show, he was on it with his mom. He would talk about how she would steal his money.

I never listened to Aaron's music, but I was a HUGE Backstreet Boys fan and had a massive crush on Nick. If this turns out to be drug related (which I am sure it will be) this will be the second sibling to die from an overdose.

They said he was dead for awhile, there was a smell of decomp and the water was an unusual color

Also his family/friends wanted the police to do a bunch of welfare checks. They knew he was going to die.

Lancaster is NOT that far above sea level that you need oxygen. This dude is delusional

I mean, if he was addicted to oxygen and it was keeping him from doing drugs then all for it. If these are the cans he was found with, then he was full on oxygenating himself to death.

Also, he HAD to have known that people would think he was huffing. It's HIM and he's sucking off a can like it's nobody's business. He's in no position to get angry with people assuming that he's huffing.

He could have drowned, but they'll defer it to do the Tox just to be thorough. Drugs could be a contributing factor in the drowning and given his history and how the place was found, they would have to do a Tox to make the autopsy complete. I'm not surprised at all.
