Alicia Kenny (23) missing from Loveland, CO since 6/11/2022

State investigators are now assisting Loveland police in hopes of finding a missing 23-year-old woman.

The Ohio Bureau of Investigation confirmed to WLWT that Loveland investigators asked for its help in finding Alicia Kenny who left her home in Loveland Saturday night and never returned.

"It's just really hard to think about what could happen," said Marcy Kenny, Alicia Kenny's mother. "She's just gone."

Marcy Kenny said her daughter lives with her grandparents and left their Loveland home to go for a stroll around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Marcy Kenny said that wasn't unusual because her daughter loves to connect with nature and would often walk to local parks to write or draw.

"When she goes, she always takes her backpack with her. That's something that's extremely close to her heart. Her Bible's in there. She's very religious. Her writings, her drawings, all her notebooks are in that backpack," Marcy Kenny said.

Sunday morning, before Alicia Kenny was reported missing, a delivery driver found her backpack in an undisclosed Loveland subdivision.

Montgomery police confirmed the delivery driver dropped it off at their department, assuming someone had lost it.

Montgomery police then delivered it to Alicia Kenny's home.

"And that's when everybody realized that she wasn't there, that when she left on Saturday night, she had never come home," Marcy Kenny said. "In the backpack were her phone, her ID, her wallet, everything."

On Monday, Loveland police released a written statement and said Alicia Kenny was last seen walking along Loveland Madeira Road in Symmes Township early Sunday morning and no foul play is suspected.

Investigators did not know who spotted her or what direction she was headed. They have not returned WLWT's phone calls seeking additional information.

Meanwhile, Marcy Kenny said she and her fellow church members walked the streets of Loveland and area parks and hung missing person flyers.

"So, if anybody is hiking or walking, just pay attention," Marcy Kenny said.

She said she is relying on tips from others and her faith for answers.

"I love the Lord, and she loves the Lord, so please pray," Marcy Kenny said.

Loveland police said Alicia Kenny was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark capris and sandals. She is 23 years old, 5 feet, 1 inch, 110 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.

Alicia Kenny frequents local parks and has no known vehicle.

Police said anyone who may know where Alicia Kenny is should call 911 or Northeast Communications at 513-677-7000.

Seriously? Then tell people around you that you are heading out to clear your head. People like this should have to reimburse the time wasted by police.

It was either a man, or drugs, or possibly both. She could have told someone and saved the delivery guy from being harrased.

I'm not mad at her, I've always wanted to pull a Gone Girl myself, minus the setting my husband up for murder part. No one would ever believe my fat ass got kidnapped, even if I am cute. :(

It would be kind of fun to see where people would look for me. I just hope that my family wouldn't let anyone waste time looking in the woods.

I'm glad that she's OK, and I think that she had made it out of state. I do wonder why she left her stuff behind. No one ever explains things after the headlines.

We think there should be a rule where if public funds are used for the search, then you should have to explain what in the hell you were doing.

I don't care if you want to go off and find yourself, more power to you, but don't let tax money that could be used for better things be used on looking for you.
