I feel like no one (besides here) is talking about this. If it was a black person who was racist and killed a bunch of white people, angry people would be blasting it all over facebook. but mine has been relatively quiet about this. It sickens me.
I was JUST about to say this! Honestly. How was I able to escape even hearing about this at all until Monday? Granted, I wasn't reading news alerts or on here, but I shouldn't have been able to escape a story like this by even trying. If the races were reversed it would be ALL OVER THE PLACE.

After Buffalo shooting, experts question whether America can face its far-right extremism problem
My Facebook is raging about this one - but that's probably because it hit so close to home for all of us. This one feels a lot more personal because it happened in my hometown. I know that's a shitty way to feel, because this one ifs no different from all the other fucking hate crimes, but it just feels a lot more ... I can't think of a good word ... real, maybe?

If you're a T-mobile customer, they have a 3 month trial of Wal-Mart+. I know for sure that I'm not going into a grocery store anytime soon.
That poor child's birthday is ruined forever. :(

911 dispatcher accused of hanging up on store employee during Buffalo shooting call
A 911 dispatcher has been placed on leave and may lose her job after allegedly hanging up on a supermarket employee hiding during this weekend’s shooting rampage in Buffalo, New York.
The Office of the Erie County Executive told NBC News the dispatcher who took the call is on adminsitrative leave pending a disciplinary hearing slated for the week of May 30 where "termination will be sought."
An internal investigation began on Sunday, one day after the shooting, and the staffer was placed on leave the following day.
The dispatcher was employed by the county for eight years, office spokesperson Peter Anderson said.
An assistant office manager at Tops Friendly Market, where 10 Black people were killed by a white gunman Saturday, told The Buffalo News that she was whispering during the 911 call because she feared the shooter would hear her.
The store employee alleges the dispatcher shouted at her, asked why she was whispering — then hung up. The employee said she had to call her boyfriend and tell him to dial 911 and report the shooting.
Anderson told Associated Press it’s unclear who hung up on whom.
A message was left with the union that represents Buffalo’s 911 dispatchers.
Typical bullshit from 911. At least it seems that way with all of the stories you hear of operators being assholes to people.
In other news, people are commenting on news stories about the shooter saying things like, "Why do they have to mention that he's white? They always have to make everything about race".
BECAUSE HE TARGETED BLACK PEOPLE AND HE HIMSELF CONFIRMED THAT WAS THE MOTIVE KAREN
People piss me off.
Why that posted twice is beyond my understanding.

Retired federal agent may have known about plans for the Buffalo shooting ahead of the massacre, report says
Law-enforcement officials are investigating whether a former federal agent knew about plans for the Buffalo, New York, shooting before it took place, The Buffalo News reported.
A gunman opened fire at Tops Friendly Markets on May 14, killing 10 people, in what the police consider a racially motivated attack. The shooting suspect was identified as an 18-year-old white man.
Authorities told The Buffalo News that the suspect corresponded with at least six people in an online chatroom before the attack, one of whom was the former agent.
Officials said the suspect invited members of the chatroom to read a plan about 30 minutes before the attack, according to The Buffalo News.
It's unclear what institution the former agent — who hasn't been identified — worked for or whether the person accepted the invitation to read about the plan.
"These were like-minded people who used this chat group to talk about their shared interests in racial hatred, replacement theory, and hatred of anyone who is Jewish, a person of color, or not of European ancestry," one official told The Buffalo News.
"What is especially upsetting is that these six people received advanced notice of the Buffalo shooting, about 30 minutes before it happened."
The FBI is interviewing the members of the chat room, including the former agent, to establish whether any of them were accomplices, The Buffalo News reported.
The FBI received no tipoffs about the shooting, the outlet added.
The FBI declined to comment. The Buffalo Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Insider.
Officials said earlier this month that they were investigating a manifesto they believe belonged to the suspect that contained racist and antisemitic views. Authorities also said the gunman had written the N-word on the side of his gun alongside a white supremacist symbol.
The suspect on May 15 was charged with first-degree murder over the shooting. He pleaded not guilty.
They're all accomplices. They were aware that it was going to happen and they did nothing. They did nothing because they wanted it to happen.
Why would anyone be surprised that an ex federal agent is a racist piece of shit? The entire system is racist from the get go.
