I've been in a concert smashup one time. It was not fun. My husband was having to root himself in his spot so people wouldn't smother me.
I almost punched this guy (same concert) that kept jumping on me and my brother with his smelly ass.
I well never do that crap again.

I think he has talent. "Franchise" and "Sicko Mode" are 2 of my favorite songs and have lasted on my playlist the longest. But I am 100% a rap & hip hop girl so maybe you just have to be into that genre to really like it.

Apparently Travis has cancelled his concert in Vegas and people are calling for him to be removed from the Coachella line up. Yes, I do blame him as part of the reason this all happened, but I think the real issue here is that we can no longer safely have General Admission events because people are horrible.

I wouldn't call it a festival. It's the rapper, Travis Scott's tour. The tour is called Astroworld after his album with the same name.
And I don't think it's a sign of your "elder status" but more of you probably don't listen to rap music.

Ugh. Personally I would never take my nine year old to something like this, but it should have been safe enough from being trampled to do so. Swears and adult activity is one thing, being trampled is another all together.

Parents want their kids out of their hair so they allow them to play video games. A popular video game called Fortnite plays Travis Scott's music and had his image on there (I learned this from Christina Randall's youtube page).
Okay that could explain why a child would want to go, but not why a parent says it's ok.

Yep Travis Scott is very popular with kids. Between the Fortnite stuff and his McDonald?s collab, a lot of kids look up to him.
Probably as a "bonding" experience. I was taken to concerts when I was very young. 2-6 years old.
