I personally think he's much closer than people think, because he didn't have all the time in the world to plan. I think someone is meeting with him and giving him supplies/money. There are a million places in Florida to camp.
These people are COMPLETE trash. They helped this asshole escape and they CONTINUE to exhibit how evil they are. They ignored phone calls and texts from Gabby's family asking where "the kids were" even after Brian returned without her and never told them that Brian returned. It's PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that they aided and abetted him and treated her family horribly!
https://okmagazine.com/p/laundrie-fa...strangulation/Brian Laundrie's family has spoken out since Gabby Petito's cause of death was revealed to be homicide by strangulation.
In a statement to the media via their attorney Steven Bertolino, they explained, “Gabby Petito’s death at such a young age is a tragedy. While Brian Laundrie is currently charged with the unauthorized use of a debit card belonging to Gabby, Brian is only considered a person of interest in relation to Gabby Petito’s demise."
Fuck even them using the term "demise" to describe Gabby's MURDER is enraging. Shit humans who raised another shit human. Hope you're rotting in the desert Brian, still alive, with buzzards pecking at your eyeballs that are too dry to cry.
The parents obviously know where their son is and know hes safe.
They are talking shit about Dog the bounty hunter and John Walsh. Im personally nuetral towards the two, but they are just trying to find their POS son. If their son was legit missing and they didnt know where he was, they would want someone to find him.
Yeh I can definitely agree with the disdain towards the Laundrie parents... and I'm not sure if it's been pointed out yet but I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that there's something important about whether or not Gabby's death is determined to have occurred on federal land or not, will determine whether or not Brian's parents (if he is in fact eventually charged) could be charged with accessory after the fact, if they indeed helped him hide out in this aftermath, solely because of Florida's laws about parents not being able to be charged in a child's legal case, sort of thing...
I'm loosing track of what I was trying to say specifically; I apologize as I've had a rough day;
maybe somebody else more familiar with speaking this kind of legalese can help me out here lol

Brian Laundrie's personal items found in Florida nature reserve, medical examiner called to scene
https://www.wfla.com/news/sarasota-c...rch-continues/Personal belongings of Brian Laundrie — the fianc? of Gabby Petito who has been missing for over a month — have been found in a Florida nature preserve and a local medical examiner is being called the scene, officials said Wednesday.
Laundrie's parents directed FBI agents and North Port police to the location where "some articles belonging to Brian were found," according to a statement by Laundrie attorney Steven Bertolino.
“Chris and Roberta Laundrie went to the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park this morning to search for Brian," Bertolino said.
"The FBI and NPPD were informed last night of Brian’s parents’ intentions and they met Chris and Roberta there this morning. After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found. As of now law enforcement is conducting a more thorough investigation of that area.”
LIVE: Medical examiner called to North Port park at center of Brian Laundrie search
The news comes after items belonging to Laundrie were reportedly found at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park. Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino told WFLA’s Mahsa Saeidi that Laundrie’s parents went to the park to search for their son on Wednesday morning, and met with North Port police and the FBI.
Bertolino said “articles” belonging to Brian were found on a trail, but he did not provide any further information. The attorney refused to comment on news of the medical examiner’s office being called to the area.
The park, which reopened to the public on Tuesday after being closed for nearly a month, saw a large law enforcement presence on Wednesday. North Port police blocked off both entrances. They told WFLA’s Allyson Henning the park was closed, but did not share any further details. North Port police spokesman Josh Taylor would only tell Henning “the search continues.”
Pasco Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Amanda Hunter said North Port police had requested their agency’s human remain detection K9s to assist with the search on Wednesday. Eagle 8 flew over the park and spotted a tent set up in the search area.

Human remains were found near where personal belongings of Brian Laundrie — Gabby Petito’s fianc? who’s been missing for over a month — turned up in a Florida nature preserve, officials said Wednesday.
A senior law enforcement official says what appears to be partial human remains have been found in the Carlton Reserve in a location that was previously under water. There is no confirmation the remains belong to Laundrie.
The remains were found near a backpack, according to this source, which may be consistent with the type of items Laundrie may have had in his possession.
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I find it awfully suspicious that family members and friends found his personal belongings along with it being "partial remains". Especially after there was a huge manhunt for him conducted in that area. So hundreds of officers searched for a week and found nothing, but family friends "Betty and Barney" decide to stroll around and "PRESTO"! We found his backpack.
Obviously DNA testing will determine if it's actually him or not, but I also definitely wouldn't put it past his shitty family to help him try to fake his death either.
