I didn't "know" him, but we spoke on face book and he was kind enough to compliment a couple of my photos. He will be missed.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Lisa Branaum Williams over the loss of Jon 'Fiskr' Larsen this morning. Many of us here followed Jon's wonderful photography, and later his courageous battle with cancer. His blogs always finding the lighter side of what really has no light side. He was truly one of a kind, and although I did not know him personally, I felt I did know him, and he will be sorely missed.
