Yay! I never talked to Mindy. Her last post was actually my first day here. But she obviously was an amazing person, based on what everyone here is saying about her and the posts and blogs I've read.

Side note, I HATE cancer (duh, I know). I'm almost certain that there's already a cure, but the average Joe and Jane could never even dream of affording it. Same with AIDS. Didn't Magic Johnson get cured or something crazy like that. Didn't mean to jack the thread. Cancer just really hits home for me, as I've known many who have succumbed to its varied forms.

I am at a loss for words other than RIP Mindy. It is not like she kept it a secret, she made it very real but I am having a very hard time wrapping my head around her death. She was such a sweet girl.

this woman was so so so so strong right untill the end, iv shared conversations with mindy often in pm in early days and she really was an inspiration. she knew what we all thought her as an amazing young lady.

Wow.  I wasn't expecting this.  I mean, I knew she was sick but for some reason I just never questioned that she'd get well.  Guess I was wrong. I feel horrible...

  i haven't been on in awhile and i can't believe this..  i didn't even catch on that she was sick.. i just read her blogs and i am in tears..  i lost 2 of my good friends to cancer (breast cancer (8-5-05 & stomach cancer 4-11-06)  and those blogs brought back alot of memories & emotions..  i am so sad for her family but glad that is she is not in pain anymore.....

I have been away from this site for a while.  I really wish I didn't have to come back to this.  Mindy was a really genuine person.  She was very brave and an inspiration whether she knew it or not.  This really makes me very sad & makes my heart ache like you would not believe.  Life just isn't fair sometimes.  In this situation in particular.  I hope that I can be half as brave as Mindy was.  She will be greatly missed by me.  RIP Beautiful Mindy, may your spirit live on in our hearts forever.
