Sister blogs about her brother's short life, death

For 16-year-old Tysha Vesperas-Saniatan, dealing with the death of her younger brother Tyran has been difficult.

While hundreds of people gathered in Hilo to show support for victims of domestic violence during a rally Wednesday, a Web site created by the girl served as an online memorial to her slain brother.

Tysha openly blogged about her feelings on Myspace.com, a popular social networking Web site. Several of Tysha's friends left condolences, encouragement and warm wishes on the page.

She expressed remorse for not being able to tell her brother goodbye and wrote that she loved him.

I had trouble accessing her blogs at first but when you read them you can't help but want to cry. Can anyone find more information about what happened to her brother?  In another article it kind of implies that her father killed in a domestic dispute between the father and mother.  However, it also implies that the father is also dead and the mother could have also been killed.  :2sad:

He was stabbed by his "father" while trying to protect his mother.

Jesus, that's horrifying. That poor girl. That poor mother. I can't believe that psycho stabbed her in the stomach. Wow.

Big Island police have released the 911 recording of Monday's fatal stabbing of a 14-year-old boy, who made the initial call to emergency officials with his dying breath.


The boy reported that his father, 38-year-old suspect Tyrone Vesperas, stabbed him in the neck.

Police said the boy, Tyran Vesperas-Saniatan, was stabbed while restraining his father from pursuing his mother, who was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen.

The pregnant mother's unborn child did not survive the attack. Vesperas has been charged with second-degree murder as well as attempted first- and second-degree murder.


As indicated in his sisters blog Tyran did die a hero.  He did whatever he could to protect his mother.
