WINCHESTER, Mass. ?
Excavation crews were at a Winchester property Monday after multiple sets of human remains were discovered last week.

On Thursday afternoon, Winchester police responded to a Dartmouth Street residence for a report of bones located on site by contractors doing demolition work at the site, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that the bones are human.

Preliminary information suggests the bones have been there for an extended period of time, possibly over 100 years, the DA's office said.

There is no suspicion of foul play, investigators said.
