A father is in police custody and his two daughters have been recovered safely after his two sons were discovered dead in a Leavenworth, Kansas, home, according to Leavenworth County Undersheriff Jim Sherley.
Sherley told CNN that law enforcement was called to a home after a family member went to the residence and reported the crime scene around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Two boys, ages 11 and 14, were found dead in the home, Sherley told CNN late Saturday.
Authorities determined the father of the boys had kidnapped his daughters, ages three and seven, and an Amber Alert was issued, Sherley said.

The two girls were safely recovered and their father was taken into custody in Beckham County, Oklahoma, east of the Texas border around 8 p.m., Sherley said.
The father has not yet been charged, according to Sherley, and will face extradition back to Kansas following an initial appearance in Oklahoma, likely on Monday.

Law enforcement has been in touch with the mother of the children, Sherley said.
Sherley said that multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the operation, including Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the FBI and the US Marshals office.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help support the mother of two boys killed in Leavenworth and two girls abducted and rescued the same day.

The boys, 14-year-old Logan Jackson and 11-year-old Austin Jackson, were found dead Saturday, police said. The same day, police launched a search for their younger sisters, 7-year-old Nora Jackson and 3-year-old Aven Jackson, who went missing from the home. The girls were later found in Oklahoma and their father, Donny Jackson, was arrested.

“Tara is now faced with the overwhelming task of paying for a funeral for her two sons,” the fundraising page said of the boys’ mother, Tara Jackson. “She will also face many other unknowns in the future.”

The girls’ father, 40-year-old Jackson, was arrested Saturday in connection with their disappearance after his vehicle was found about 500 miles from the Leavenworth home where the girls went missing and the two boys were found dead.

“Nora and Aven, were reunited with Tara after a multi state amber alert, will undoubtedly need help to get through this tragic event as well,” the GoFundMe page continued. “Please help Tara in any way you can.”

According to court records, Donny Jackson is in the middle of divorce proceedings with Tara Jackson. As of Sunday, a status hearing was scheduled for Nov. 12.

Donny Jackson’s attorney withdrew as counsel last month, Leavenworth County court records show. Jackson then began representing himself in court. When reached Sunday, Jackson’s previous attorney declined to comment.

This is bad. I'm wondering he planned on selling those girls.

I had to look up the symbolism on his FB page. If anyone besides me didn't know:

    https://anglicanlife.ca/2018/10/26/what-is-the-chi-rho/

Later, the Chi Rho was further understood as a symbol not just of Christ, but of his resurrection and victory over death. In that case, the simple Chi Rho was often depicted in a circle, within which were also the Alpha and Omega?the beginning and then end of the Greek alphabet?as Jesus said that he is the Alpha and the Omega.
Now I'm thinking he just wanted to rule over his wife and the boys were old enough to fight back. Pure EVIL.

    https://www.kake.com/story/42822360/...capital-murder

A Kansas father accused of killing his two sons and abducting his two daughters, which prompted an Amber Alert on Saturday, has been charged with capital murder.

Leavenworth County District Attorney Todd Thompson said 40-year-old Donny Jackson faces two counts of first-degree murder in the alternative. Thompson would not discuss a possible motive, or how the boys were killed.

A capitol murder conviction can result in the death penalty or life in prison without parole. WDAF reports Jackson could face federal charges in the kidnapping of his two daughters.

The homicide-abduction investigation began around 1:30 p.m. Saturday after the bodies of 14-year-old Logan Jackson and 12-year-old Austin Jackson were found in their father's home.

Their sisters, 3-year-old Aven Jackson and 7-year-old Nora Jackson, were found unharmed later that night in Oklahoma after an Amber Alert was issued.

Jackson is being held in Beckham County, Oklahoma. He's awaiting extradition back to Kansas.
