    The Clark County Sheriff?s Office is searching for a missing woman and is asking for the public?s help.

    Officials say they received a 9-1-1 call of a possible missing person on Sunday, Oct. 4. Cassandra Ayon, 27, was reported to have moved recently and her parents hadn?t seen her since Friday.

    Officials determined that the last time anyone saw her was Saturday morning around 3:45 a.m. in the Unity area when she left a friend?s house. Cassandra hasn?t been home since and did not show up to work on Monday.

    Ayon drives a 2015 black Chevy Impala with a license plate of AHZ-2509.

    Clark County officials are asking for the public?s help in locating her. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Clark County Sheriff?s Office at 715-743-3157.

    The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 27-year old Cassandra Ayon of Loyal.

    Cassandra was last seen leaving the Unity Trailer Court on West Fischer Street on Saturday, October 3, 2020, between the hours of 3:30 A.M. and 4:30 A.M. in her Black 2015 Chevy Impala with Wisconsin Lic. #AHZ-2509. She has not been seen nor heard from since.

    We are asking for the public’s help for any information on a Red or Maroon SUV that may have been seen driving around or parked on one of the residential side streets near the Unity Trailer Court during the time Cassandra went missing.

    Mosinee man charged in connection to disappearance of Cassandra Ayon

    A 41-year-old Mosinee man has been charged in connection to the disappearance of Cassandra Ayon who went missing in October 2020.

    Court records show Jesus Contreras Perez has been charged with first degree intentional homicide- domestic abuse, party to a crime, hiding a corpse- party to a crime and stalking- resulting in bodily harm.

    According to the criminal complaint, Ayon’s death culminated what was described as months of stalking and abuse by Contreras Perez.

    The document shows on Oct. 2, 2020, surveillance video shows Contreras Perez hanging around the parking lot at about 5:45 p.m. where Ayon worked, Marathon Cheese in Marathon City. Ayon left work and hours later went to a party in Marshfield. Around 4 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2020, Ayon dropped a friend off in Unity about 15 miles north of Marshfield. That was the last time anyone confirmed seeing her.

    The criminal complaint also details incidents when Contreras Perez threatened to hurt Ayon.

    One witness told investigators Ayon sent him photos of bruising around her eye. She said Contreras Perez caused it.

    Authorities allege within two weeks of Ayon’s disappearance, she said Contreras Perez told her if she ever cheated on him, he would hide her body so no one would ever find it.

    Trial begins for suspect in missing woman’s disappearance and murder

    A five-day trial is scheduled to begin Monday for the 42-year-old man charged with killing a missing woman and hiding her remains.

    Cassandra Ayon, 27, was last seen around 3:45 a.m. Oct. 3, 2020 in the Unity area. Ayon has not been seen since. Court documents say her vehicle and her body have not been located. Court documents state there has been no bank activity on Ayon’s accounts. There are no records she has left the United States and she does not have a passport.

    Jesus Contreras Perez is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking resulting in bodily harm in connection to the disappearance of Ayon.

    Court documents say Ayon and Contreras Perez have a child together.

    Mosinee man found guilty of killing missing Clark County woman Cassandra Ayon

    A Clark County jury on Friday found a 42-year-old Mosinee man guilty of killing his former girlfriend.

    According to online court records, Jesus Contreras Perez was found guilty on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse and stalking in connection with the disappearance of Cassandra Ayon.
