(KTXL) ? Flowers and balloons now decorate a part of the 205 westbound ramp in Tracy, marking the spot where a car crash killed four people.

Family and friends confirmed one of the passengers in the car was 17-year-old Treyvon Breckenridge.

Family friend Jackie Remo says Trey?s 18th birthday was less than two weeks away.

?He had dreams. He had vision and unfortunately, all those came to an end last night so we?re all very saddened by that,? Remo told FOX40.

FOX40 had recently spoken to the teen for a story about the small business he started during the COVID-19.

The former Edison High School football player and grad had started a business cleaning garbage cans during the shutdown.

?It?s a great loss for the old city of Stockton and his friends,? Remo said. ?Everyone?s hurting right now. But I can just say that he will be truly missed.?

Patterson Joint Unified School District confirms two Patterson High School senior girls also died in the crash.

The California Highway Patrol says they had tried to stop the car the teens were in for a traffic violation, but the driver sped away.

Investigators say a pursuit began but the car full of teens was driving too fast and the officer stopped the pursuit.

Several minutes later the car slammed into a pair of palm trees.

Now, four families and countless friends are mourning.

?Pray for the families. Everyone?s grieving right now. It?s a great loss,? Remo said.

FOX40 learned the fourth person in the car was a McNair High School 2019 graduate.
