    A third-grade teacher at Norwood Elementary School in Stanly County died Sunday morning after a recent COVID-19 diagnosis, the district confirmed.

    It's not like we didn't see this coming. I don't agree with the health department that she didn't get it from the school. The timing is just too solid.

    Even if the health department tested every student she came in contact with, they still wouldnt know for sure since some positive people test negative.

    They would have no way of knowing that she didnt get it from the school. They are just trying to cover the school's ass.

    Not to mention if a student doesn't have it and tests negative, who is to say they won't get it the next day? What are they supposed to do, test every student every day? It's crazy.

    My youngest is still doing school online, I know he hates it but it's much safer.

    A friend of mine (67) is guaranteeing right now. He and his wife take care of several school age grands who are in school part time. One of the kids brought it home. His folks are sick now couple of cousins are sick. Fortunately the older folks are OK for now, but it's a worrying time. Kids do get it. And like the generous little souls they are the share it with friends, family, etc. It's just stupid to pretend otherwise.
