What happens in the bedroom doesn't always stay in the bedroom ' especially when you're trying to rent it.
A listing for an Upper West Side unit has earned the attention of onlookers, but not solely because the monthly cost has slipped from $2,800 to $2,500 in a three-week span.
The unusual marketing language for this one-bedroom at 201 W. 82nd St. served more to suggest what could be done within the walls of this apartment.
Spies spotted the property's StreetEasy listing, where the raunchy listing description appeared.
"More dutty guests" could come take part in communal sex games in the living room, the listing suggested.
'HIDE & SEEK (adult style),' the kinky description read. 'A sexy king-size one bedroom where you'll find four very large closets in which you can hide from your very, naughty playmate. And should you be lucky enough to be found, the two of you can retreat to the king-size bedroom where you both can romp & play, all night.'
After a while, the listing suggested, having two-person play may grow old.
'Well then invite many more dutty guests to partake in communal games, held in your stadium-sized living room.'
But there is one caveat.
'However, be mindful not to let your guests stay past dawn though else they'll be sure to be beamed by glaring sunlight; not good for the 'walk of shame.' '
On Reddit, viewers commented 'COVID making agents thirsty [as f - - k],' and 'Some niche marketing [right there].'
But others said this write-up may have been an error: 'Maybe one of the agents sent it to another as a joke, and they pasted it before actually reading it.'
Now, however, the listing language is much different.
'ONE BEDROOM OF UNACCUSTOMED SIZE & CLOSET COUNT,' it reads in a far more kosher version. It goes on to list a 'stadium-sized living room,' '4 spacious closets,' as well as the price being 'cheap.'
'That's all, folks,' it concludes.
Jean Kersaint of KYLM, LLC has the listing.
