The bookstore at our mall went out of business (it was a chain but I don't remember the name) and I don't know if we have a bookstore in town now. I don't buy books much anyway. I use the library, or sometimes get them through Amazon.
I remember as a kid going downtown to J. C. Penney's, which is a chain and is now in the mall. We also went to Montgomery Wards, which is also a chain, now closed here. There was a shoe store downtown and it's still open but has moved out of downtown. I think the mall killed the downtown shopping.
I'm looking forward to the day that I can do all my shopping online and have it delivered, including groceries.
They are trying to revitalize downtown, we'll see how that works out for them. But yeah. If amazon doesn't have it, I probably won't be buying it... Groceries are the only thing I regularly go to the store to get. Even my dog food comes mail order.

My boss is the worst culprit of this. But really, my entire department does it. Sometimes, I don't even know how some of the people have these jobs.

The new coordinators of the show are much better at this but the last one DROVE ME FUCKING NUTS. Never read a single email. I suspect I am partially to blame for her removal because I got so pissed in Europe and compiled a collection of every detailed email I'd ever sent and sent it to the main producer to be like SEE STFU.

its just too long or too short. not enough time to accomplish anything so give me 30 minutes and let me leave 15mins sooner... or just give me an hour so i can run some errands.
Yeah an hour is almost like having two separate shifts. 30 minutes and I'd rather not take lunch.
DTTAM: I am evidently allergic to the cream stuff my Massage therapist uses, as I am now all itchy. I hate being itchy.

i know when i was a massage therapist, i used sesame oil, infused with different oils, on men bc they are hairy. im surprised you got a massage with cream.
I'm not sure... I have never been allergic to anything in the past (Except Nickel), and I don't know exactly what she uses. I looked at the tube the other day when she left it on the counter, but other then it being "organic", I don't remember anything it said. I do know that she at least changed the packaging in recent weeks (It used to be a mystery cream in a Tupperware container. hahaha), and this started up not long after my appointment with her this week. I just have a very slight rash, and it itches about as much as a mosquito bite.
