I mean they JUST started back to school, let 'em have a minute to acclimate before you try to pimp them out for money for your school. Besides, my girls pretty faces need to be selling something better than candy. Like maybe clothes, they would rock a Kohls ad!

Oh you know them well, Worlds finest chocolate! At least they added dark chocolate almond this year! BUT STILL!!! :x

The amount of door to door solicitation that goes on these days. It's rude and creepy. They knock even when I have a no solicitation sign right on the door. My Mom laughs at me because I get so annoyed. Until I tell her I am going to send them all over to her home and have them ring her damn intercom, haha.
Also phone solicitation sucks. Starting at about 3-4pm I turn off the ringer on the landline because it doesn't stop.

Our county was elected for federal aid for hail damage back a few months ago when tornado's came through. So we have people coming around wanting to fix our roof. This is at least once a week.
Of course the Jehovah's come at least once a month.

Oh Sweet Lord the JW's. Well I try to be nice but when they don't take no for an answer I find it disrespectful dang it. This one time a man came to my door (not JW) I believe he was a born again because he was just going off about the world ending and I just told him "I don't believe in Armageddon or the world ending, I refuse to live in fear of dying". And he just wouldn't give up. Those are tough calls because I don't have any problems with people and their religions, but sometimes these people take it to a new level. It is not like you are learning or having a discussion they are basically shoving it down your throat. And I don't have the audacity to go to someones home and basically shove my views down their throat.
I will admit one time to doing something kinda funny when a friends little sister invited in a nice Mormon family for tea. Yeah she was 14 and drove us nuts and we were drinking wine coolers (YUCK). And my friend ran out to the living room in some get up and out the back door and then I ran through asking if they'd seen her. Her sister was frightfully embarrased especially when I said but K broke off her harness and is going nuts. K came back in the house pulling the best Rainman evar! I told them she was our retarded sister that we kept in the closet. Probably not so funny, unless you were there.

Yeah it is slightly different in England I gather. We have our own individual rooms (and in some cases like my halls bathrooms) then we share with between 4-8 people Living rooms and Kitchen/diners. I am living with 2 lads and 2 girls!

Actually the whole solicitation kinda scares me because it makes me think people are casing the joint. HAHA. Not the religious folk, the weird alarm solicitors.
And the funny thing about the religion thing is I usually like people that can carry on conversations about Religion and Politics. I like conversation and debate and learning. But the door to door thing doesn't do it for me.

My dog barks her head off whenever the doorbell rings. She thinks she is so tough!! She weighs maybe 12lbs. But of course they don't know that!!
