I hate glasses cuz it made me look like a geek, even though I am one, and contacts because I can't bloody put them on! It's like scratching my eyeballs out. :lol:

I have it in both eyes!! And my glasses make me look like a geek, in fact my avatar pic is the first pic ever of me in my glasses, and I've had them since November. :lol:

I wanted laser as well, but the fact that it's not permanent puts me off.
I'm very blind, my prescription (?) is -6.50....
I have a monthly one. I tried the ones where you just leave it on but it got stuck and couldn't take them out so I had to go see a doctor, it was all red and bloodshot.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 11 because I read a lot, I sneak books into my room and read in the dark, bad mistake :lol:
My mum is very strict and wouldn't allow us to read anything but classics or lit etc.

O got my first pair of glasses when I was 15, but my vision still sucked, because my Dr. told me just to use them for reading. So I finally got my new prescription in November.

Another thing that annoys me. My mum, she screams at me for no reason and gives me a lot of grief, she pretty much contributed to my high anxiety and stress, shit scared of her :lol:

Being called the worse daughter of the lot and wishing I wasn't born didn't help haha 

But she said it when she was having one of those phases...pretty much she meant it anyway.

[/quote]I am almost positive that LASIK is permanent.  You just have to have a stable prescription for an extended time.  I've had glasses since I was 10 so I would be willing to get the surgery despite the risks.

That is so messed up! But it reminds me of the number one thing that annoys me, my granny. She always tells me what a burden I am living in her house, even though she won't take money for bills, I buy all the groceries, cook, clean, and help take care of my dad(he's a quadriplegic), she still bitches at me. And then to make it worse, I tell her that I'm moving out of town to go to school, and she is mad that I'm moving now. I don't understand her. :x

Yeah it's pretty messed up, but she believes in tough love, even though we don't agree with her method
But...she has problems...and sometimes I think I inherited from her, because all my other siblings are fine. :lol:

Sounds familiar. My mom passed away when I was 12, but I could already tell thats what kind of parent she would end up being. I love her, but I could just tell. My dad is cool, he's been in a wheelchair for 15 years and he pretty much depends on my granny to take care of him.
