if u get a kick outta that statement man u should see me when it happens. Mass confusion dude. I'm all whipping around and looking in all my mirrors and squinting down the streets and quickly switching lanes just in case I have to pull over. The whole time I'm thinking "where the hell IS it??" Completely bewildered.
and they do that damn siren thing in SO MANY songs now. COUNTRY songs even. I was making a grocery run in my bros hick-mobile yesterday and he had some Gretchen chick blaring in the CD player...I woulda switched it to the radio just cuz her voice snuffs out my will to live but I was in a hurry and didn't wanna be a road hazard trying to drive and figure my bros radio out...it took me extra long to figure out it was the song just becuz it was county and it always seems to be more prominent in that thug stuff.

I was also taught that staring is rude, but frequently I find myself zoning out and staring into space if I'm bored. I'm not really staring at anyone, but they probably think I am. I'm just more lost in thought because I'm bored.
My dad was a cop and people always used to stare at him. I find myself observing people in uniform, but I try not to flat out stare. I think most people are just curious and don't realize they are being rude.
But I do understand how it's annoying. I HATE it when people stare at you with a sneer on their face, or they stare at you and look you up and down. That is disrespectful and it feels like they are daring you to say something to them.
And btw, that was a good decision on your part. Even though it turned out to be nothing, it was still a good idea to check!

Once at 3am I was driving past a petrol station and the attendant was standing next to a car with both hands behind his head like he was being held up I swerved into the station jumped out and bolted straight for the car threw my torch past the car owners window so he would look at it for a second which would give me the time to spray my pepper spray through the window when the attendant jumped back and asked whats wrong which made me hit my brakes and say its 3am you have your hands above your head just out of site of you cameras. he gave a sheepish look and said he was being lazy and just resting his hands above his head and didnt realise how it would look to people driving past and the guy is his mate. I picked up my torch and went off swearing, I got a free coffee out of it lol

Gretchen Wilson isn't all bad.
Dumb thing: Delta smiting me for trying to moderate a death thread.

This was my annoyance a few pages back. This weekend at the campground I was trying to eat nachos. Now I was taught especially not to stare at people eating. One lady sat and watched me eat my nachos...I dribbled them down my shirt twice and felt like complete ass! She was over there grinning. I wanted to cheese up my fingers and poke her googly eyes!

Didn't you have a pic on your page in a dress or something? If you're who I'm thinking of, I'd fuck you before Ms. Wilson.
Well, if both your bank accounts were $0.

I did, yes: a picture from when I attended my brother's wedding. So, that person may be if. And if so, thank you, I appreciate that! I think?
Current annoyance: That my checking account is slowly dwindling, but Gretchen Wilson's isn't.

so a few weeks back, a couple of derby girls and i were out shopping. i'll be the first to admit the aren't conventional but they are far from freaky looking. yeah, they're tattooed but um, it's 2008 and (at least where we are) it's southern california. i'm the minority for not having any ink whatsoever. in any case, i'm walking a few feet behind the group when i notice a woman staring at my friends. not simply glancing at, or even just looking, but blatantly staring. being the asshole that i can be, i walked as close to the woman as i could without touching her, mad-dogging her the whole time, and as i passed her i blurted out "how does it feel like to be fucking stared at?" and kept on walking. maybe that was the wrong approach but hopefully the lady will think twice about gawking at people. it's very possible i have issues....

As a pretty heavily tattooed person who was active in the punk scene for years.....
If no one stared, there'd be no point. They'd cover the tattoos up if they didn't want people to look at them.
It's when people you know past judgement, that's when its fucked. Like my coworker who told people I was trashy because i have a sleeve tattoo.
You slept with mike so he would ban me. change your sig..the pretentious look how hipster face is so old ooh you like guys with glasses..ooooh

the lady had this look of disgust on her face. i know none of the girls cared she was staring but i was reacting on principle. your coworker sounds like a douche.

I never mind people staring at my ink...but when I'm eating, or walking down the street...to have some guy literally sticking his head out the window Ace Ventura style is disconcerting!

I mean, to an extent...I know in certain place, I look weird. and it's not by accident. So when I was in walmart in upstate New York and people would stare at me, I was like, okay. But when security would follow me around, I would become pissed off.
Also salt Lake city. those people will stare at anything, and refuse to serve you. Fucking mormons.

There's ONE place I never got dirty stares about any of my ink, and that was in Kentucky. I do have a USMC tattoo in memory of my dad, and they really liked that one, and would smile at me when they looked...even though she looks battered. She's getting fixed next month, plastic surgery via a decent artist, who I shoulda went to, to begin with :-(
