I went from Sears to Once Upon a Child (not sure if you have those where you live?) and I loved it there. I worked there off and on for 10 years.

It was so fun working there, seeing all the cool things people brought in to sell. And some of the....um, interesting things I would find (like a crack pipe).

My fave department to work in at Dillards was the kids clothes. They were so cute!

In a pile of KIDS clothes that someone brought in to sell. Crazy, huh? We even had the cops come in because someone sold us a stolen jogger (it was a super expensive one).

Yeah, it's just extra bad when it's mixed in with your kid's stuff. Maybe it was a mix up because she meant to take that to Once Upon a Crackhead.

    DTTAM:

The stupid search feature on MDS. It has NEVER worked for me, EVER. I've tried Googling the name with "mydeathspace" but that only works sometimes.

I know we have an article on [missing] David Koenig because I've posted in that thread. I have an update (his body has been found) and can't find the thread anywhere.

His body has been found not far from where he went missing (2-3yrs later) and his family isn't blaming the police. Police say no foul play is suspected and the family agrees and wants people to stop with all the conspiracies. I think that's noteworthy in itself.

I hate when one person hijacks a Facebook group.
I'm a member of a local police scanner page and one repo guy took it upon himself to post everyday crap like
"Haha! Your car wasn't stolen from Walmart."
"Came out of the Home Depot and can't find your car? It was me! Lol!"
"I've towed 8 cars before noon today. Lol!"
I know he's doing his job, but he doesn't need to boast about it, everyday. We get your point. Your good at your job.
Another local Facebook group for an annual treasure hunting event, some person has taken upon themselves to start writing Dear Diary entries about looking for treasure. They write paragraphs like "Dear Diary, I woke up early again this morning to find a mystical globe that the mermaids at the beach sung about. I asked Mr. Squirrel if he'd help me in my quest, but he was more interested in looking for nuts. Blah blah."
I hate that other members are egging them on and making them think they're not annoying.

Be glad you weren't on MDS during the Jodi time. You would have hated it!

I followed the case and posted in that thread, but there were people writing poetry and drawing pictures about the case, and doing fan fiction. It was insane!
