A new thing I'm annoyed about regarding the baby shower my mil will be hosting.
She invited people that neither my husband nor I know.
She invited a cousin that I hate.
Luckily, the cousin said she wouldn't be attending. I wouldn't want her there.

If you think your MIL is annoying, just wait until after the baby is born. My MIL is deceased, but I?ve heard stories.

Just telling you as a heads-up. Set clear boundaries.

I spent the last week picking the perfect tile for the bathrooms of the new rent house (I'm the one doing the tiling), and now that I saw it all together in person today it doesn't work. The shades are different that the clash and the marble tile looks too busy when I lay it out. Now I have to return what I bought and start all over.

It's such a pain to try to get everything to work... I've got this brick fireplace in the living room / dining room of my house. I love it, but it doesn't go with anything. sign

It's hard when you have something you love but that doesn't work with anything else. I think that's what happened with me and the tile. I fell in love with a backsplash and have been trying to make it work and it just isn't right with anything else.

I also hate when everything looks great online, but in real life it just doesn't. And if you do find something you like, make sure you buy enough so that it all comes from the same lot (paint, tile, flooring) or it might be just different enough that it doesn't work. Been there, done that.

Luckily, she lives 3.5 hours away though she has mentioned in the past moving in with us (before I was ever pregnant).
    My husband told her no.

They sound a lot like my ex husband's relations.
Dead MIL had 4 kids by 4 fathers. She died at 36 from heart disease. My ex is obese and refuses to lose weight because "heart disease only affects women in his family" Oh, except for his uncle but that's only because he smokes
Dead FIL had fuck knows how many children with almost as many mothers.
I'm not 100% convinced that there wasn't some in breeding going on, on both sides.

Luckily my current in laws are awesome

My husband spoke to his mom to see how the baby shower planning was going.
So far, she only has come up with one "game". A crossword puzzle.
I'm not about to chit chat with his relatives for however long this baby shower is.

I forgot to mention, I'm registered at Target, and my mil wants to know what I want from Walmart.
Walmart is the China of the United States. If that makes sense.
I don't know why old people don't know how to shop online?!
Also, there's a Target 30 minutes from her house if she doesn't want to shop online.
I really don't want Walmart crap.

This is really dumb, but tonight, I was washing my hands after using the restroom and suddenly there was sharp tapping on the door.
I jumped, because I was startled, and then I went off on my husband!
You do not scare a pregnant woman!
He apologized, but I was pissed!
So right now, being petty, I'm deleting people off of his Facebook that
    1. have stupid political crap on their page
    2. post stupid ridiculous crap that's not funny
    3. just annoy me

I'm trying to understand what sharp tapping is, is it banging? Or like tapping on door with an object like a key or a pen? How many people have you deleted so far? Lmfaoooo.

So don't go. Tell her to cancel it so those people can spend their money on someone who's actually grateful to have people helping them with baby stuff.

You do realize that Walmart carries many of the exact same baby items that Target sells, right? Same brands and everything.

Here's an idea ... go buy all that stuff you registered for with your own money. Then you won't have to piss and moan about where people bought your gifts.

It was quick tapping and then a sudden opening of the door.
I was startled, because I was in my own little world while I was washing my hands and my husband was supposed to be in the living room watching a movie.
I wasn't expecting him to suddenly pop up.
    I've deleted about 30. Lol!

I don't mean to sound ungrateful. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones. Yeah. I'll blame it on that. Lol!
I feel that Target has better quality clothing compared to Walmart.
Plus, Target will replace certain brand of clothes up to a year (I think).
Oh and shopping/returning at Walmart is a nightmare!
I just don't want to support Walmart.
And I feel that if she really wants to throw me a baby shower, she'd already have it pretty much planned out.

I forgot to take my anti depressant last night and now I can't stop crying.
Also that I am sure saw a thread on here the other day about depression or mental health that would be far more appropriate for this but now I can't find it.

When I don’t take my anti depressants the night before the next day I get the “zaps”. It’s the weirdest thing ever. Plus I feel like shit.

I woke up with a bladder infection and it's ruining my plans for the weekend, and hurts like a $#%*.

We just got the teladoc benefits as of Jan 1st, so I think I might try that, because I don't want to go hang out in the clinic and catch something worse in the waiting room.

Can you get antibiotics through that?

It says yes. I have never done anything like that before, so I really wasn't sure until I looked it up.

I accidentally hit edit on your post vs reply, so that's why it says I edited it. I didn't really, I'm just lying in bed and fat fingered it.

I will update you on how it worked and what I think of it. I spent all morning denying it was a UTI, but it got worse this afternoon. I am waiting on the OTC urinary pills to work so that I am not in agony, and then I am going to go find our insurance info and do the visit. I used to get UTI's all the time, but now I seem to randomly get one about every 3 or so years. At least it's not like once a month or so anymore. I keep the OTC UTI pain pills around though just in case. I had to dig, but I finally found them.

I hope you're not getting sick too! I keep seeing all the stats on how bad the regular flu is right now. It makes me not want to leave my house! Stay well!
