I am annoyed because birds are avoiding my feeder in droves. When I am sitting here wasting my life on MDS I like to be able to look out the window and see birds eating. I have now put aluminum foil all over the pole because I read that birds like shiny things. Still no birds, just a lonely, white-trash looking feeder (and a few of my daughter's friends who also like shiny things but I greased the pole to keep them off.)  :x This is probably an old people thing, but annoying nonetheless.  :oops:

I've actually heard that birds are scared of shiny things. That's why people put aluminum pie-shell thingies out in place of scarecrows...cuz it scares them.

I'm not sure what kind of birds you have in your area, but you could try buying millet bird seed or some with peanuts in it. We have Blue Jays and they go nuts over peanuts. Birds also tend to like sunflower seeds. But one of the best ways to attract them is by having a bird bath too. That way, they know your yard is the 'happenin' spot.  :2cool:

I have some kind of fruit and nut thing in a feeder in the front of the house and it's pretty popular. In the back I have a feeder with the fruit and nut stuff, one with just white millet, a niger thistle feeder, one of those cakes of fat and crap AND a bird bath. Maybe I'm overstimulating them with too much stuff in a small area. Stupid fucking birds.

I forgot mine this year until about 3 or 4 months late. The fee was only like 10 bucks or something, wasn't much. Of course you may get caught and then will have to pay a fine. I was just lucky.

SO, a dumb thing that annoys me is my fucking neighbor.
So i came home from my nephew's baptism and someone was parked in "my" spot - not REALLY my spot because its on the street, but street parking is sparse and last time that nissan was there - it was there for 5 days!
so i parked in an open spot 3 spaces behind it.

3 hours later, i go to leave and I have a nastigram on my windshield.  "Find another dam parking space, park in front of your own fucking apartment"
WOW.  nice.  soooooooo, that couldnt go unanswered. so, luckily I had a piece of paper and replied
"wow, FUCK YOU.  Im putting your love note on the car that deserves it, the Nissan in "MY" parking space.  I didnt realize that you owned the street, Im not about to shove my car up my ass if someone is in my spot but i'll gladly shove it up yours if you dont want it here.  Thanks for the note, I love you too.  Have a nice day xoxo"

and I put it on their car, in their driveway. (HI they have a two car driveway)  and i put their note on the nissan in my spot.
The next day the nissan was gone, and i seriously think it may have belonged to someone from their house. 

I hope that if I ever have to park there again, i pray that someone confronts me, I will rip them a new one and maybe i can park there.
