I keep my answering machine off most of the time. I hate listening to voice mails and also hate returning calls.

This morning I am annoyed by kitchens such as mine that were built when the only appliances in existance were the stove, refrigerator and coffee pot. When I'm trying to get ready for a family outing I flip breakers all over the place.  I feel like Lisa Douglas on Green Acres.

I can't stand my hair being touched.  I also rarely look in mirrors so staring at myself for an hour is horrible.  I always stare down at my hands and get told off by the hairdresser.  The only bonus is that I have to take my glasses off so my reflection is a blur

I think the hairdresser would consider that rude.  She likes to spend the hour reminiscing about how she remembers when I used to get my hair cut there and was still a nurse.  There's nothing like spending an hour listening to a total stranger remind you of what a giant failure you are in life whilst being forced to stare at yourself in a huge mirror.
