I remember watching the old Transformers, but I really didn't pay attention to the actual storyline haha. So it doesn't bother me. And I thought that the graphics were pretty well done. And I told you yesterday that I think I have a crush on OP and Bumblebee :oops: . And movie that can make me crush on some non-bio life form is good enough for me :-)

I finally broke through one after 5 weeks. I thought, there is no way my body is gonna stop me from losing weight.

i watched it regularly, dont insult me with the my little pony crap.
im just saying, for a remake of a 1980's cartoon, i thought it was awesome, the story line was awesome too.

1) The characters in the cartoon had waaaaaaay more personality that Michael Bay should have focused on. The relationship between Starscream and Megatron is a classic example. Instead we get a bunch of "cliche" soldiers. I didn't come to see Saving Private Ryan I want TRANSFORMERS!
2) Michael Bay should be blacklisted after all those product placements. It was fucking insulting as a viewer.
I can go on...
I also hated X-Men. These directors are are only out to make a "Hollywood Blockbuster" and $$$ for their studios. They don't care about real fans because most of the people flocking to the theaters don't even remember the cartoon.
This is why Sin City and 300 were amazing. Because Frank Miller was on set to help guide the directors.
There's no way Miller would let Bay or Singer butcher his creation.

Oh, I totally agree with you about X-men. I watched the cartoon, and was somewhat familiar with the comic book, so I was SUPER excited about the badassery that SHOULD have happened when Jane Grey came back as Phoenix. I mean, that bitch was supposed to be destroying entire planets. They totally ruined it.
Sin City and 300 are the two greatest movies I have seen in a loooooong time.

that seems a little bit picky to me though. i mean yeah, theres gonna be some things that arent totally awesome about it, but those little things wouldnt make me go as far as to say the movie was "ghey". i didnt notice any product placement, except maybe the cars, but when youre doing such a huge budget film, somethings gotta pay the bills.
the only things i didnt really like was the one of the kids demands was to clear the girls juvenile record, that shit clears itself when you turn 18. also i didnt like that bumblebee changed cars. other then that, OVER ALL it was a good movie.
