Pickle me Elmo is welcome at any party I'm at. As long as it's in a context that doesn't involve a sicko that lusts after children. What's a party without a pickle me Elmo?

BTW, I do this thing called "GISH" and "Pickle Me Elmo" was one of the tasks. It was hilarious and the entries were SUPERB.

I often tried to give up social networks, but I always returned after 2-3 days.

Even on social networks, it is possible to spend time helpfully. Sometimes I can watch 3 hours of life hacks that will be useful to me at work. My son decided to make money in Tik-Tok. Every night he talks about his business plans. He planned to buy a few thousand subscribers here, famoid.com. The videos would automatically come up in the recommended ones. From there, people will share content with their friends. That way, his account will quickly become popular.

I'm not falling for that. I don't need a warranty anymore because there is a Nigerian Prince who is going to give me a bunch of money so I won't need a warranty and will be able to buy a new car every month.

I have deleted all of them except for Instagram because it is where I get most of my orders from.

Hey there! I actually deleted all of my social media accounts a few years back and I have to say, it's been great for me in the long run. Initially, it was tough because I felt like I was missing out on a lot of social interactions and news updates. However, as time went on, I found myself feeling much more focused and present in my daily life. I also noticed that my mental health improved significantly. I wasn't constantly comparing myself to others or feeling pressure to keep up with everyone's highlight reel. Instead, I was able to focus on my own goals and aspirations without any distractions.

    Welcome to MDS!

Good for you on getting away from it. Some days I really am tempted, but living so far away from my Mom and the rest of my friends and family, it's the only way I can keep in touch. I have tried to make an effort to not rely on it for much more than sharing funny stuff or updating people on what I'm up to though.

It must feel amazing to not need it.

Welcome!! I feel the same way. I try to step away as much as I can and often think about just deleting all social media altogether.

Don't you mean that the rocket experienced a "Rapid Unexpected Disassembly"?

Even their responses to the explosion are pretentious. He's a dick.

Even if you haven't created an account on a social media site, they might have a hidden profile with more details than you'd believe.

Cal Newport's insights into the addictive nature of platforms like Facebook and Twitter are eye-opening for many. Taking a step back and regaining control over your online presence can have long-term benefits.

I agree. I have a hard time not logging in to check out the scene on the platforms. I do take little breaks from time to time though. I just find it the easiest and best way to keep in touch with people I love since I live so far away from everyone.

I have to be on fb because of my kids school. The parents page is a place to ask questions and find out whats going on in school. So I cant ditch that.

As far as the other stuff, dont have them. I once heard "never trust anyone without an instagram" so I guess you shouldnt trust me. I dont have twitter, instagram, snap chat, or any of that other crap.
