Fun fact...I live near one of the NSYNC member's moms, and she is the mayor.
I can never remember if her son was in the BSB or NSYNC, and she gets all bent out of shape about that.
For the record, what about NKOTB. I'm pretty sure that was TOTAL 80's!
Also for the record, I dislike all boy bands, but I am still Team 90's.
Team Monkee's here. I will include a link for those of you not ancient enuff to remember them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Monkees. Team 70's.
They were a staple in my household, the show and the music. Fun fact, I've also played their music many a gig.
New Kids was 80s but ANNOYING AF for me. I did like SOME 90s. DM Enjoy the Silence came out in the early 90s and I liked some of the later 90s stuff like Soundgarden and NIN, but the rest was kind of crap. I'm also a TOOL fan, but I can't remember if they started late 90s or 2000s. There was some stuff that I could tolerate that was 2000s like Goo Goo Dolls etc (don't hate, it was not bad). Toad The Wet Sprocket was cool too. But I can't stand Green Day or Blink 182 or any of those bands that over pronounced their vowels in their singing. I will literally rage if I hear 4 Non Blondes or Pearl Jam or anyone that tried to sound like Pearl Jam. All trash. I wasn't a Nirvana fan either, but I could at least respect the sound and writing they did since they weren't copying others.
ETA: Oh! STP was cool too.
I worked at one while I was in college. I lasted only two months before I moved onto greener pastures. Lol!
The fast food industry isn't for me.
It was kind of weird how they all closed down in my area also, but then reopened. They do look much nicer now.
It looks like the closest one to your location is Plant City, FL.
Most of the Sonics in my area closed down several years ago, but one finally opened back up close to me.
I wish a Quiznos would open back up. They are the place I really miss!
