I hope not. You and Ang both need to get well and stay well!
Good god. I knew Covid wasn't done, but... The vet's office we use posted on Facebook that they are closed due to C. 9 of the 12 people who work there have tested positive. The people who are not sick are caring for the boarding clients and dealing with clients who need to pick up meds and redirecting people with urgent issues to other vets. Gotta get in and get that booster!
I want that booster. bad.
My friend recently tested positive and went to the ER for a migraine that was affecting her sight. She was okay after narcotics. Im glad it wasnt serious like a COVID blood clot, or a stroke.
I originally guessed this would last until 2022, but I thought it would die down and the symptoms wouldnt be as bad. The fucker is mutating.
My mom is going to France Sunday. Is that a hot spot?
I'll probably get it after going to an overly crowded Costco this weekend.
After two and a half years of dodging it, the plague has finally fallen on my household.![]()
RBW ~ how is hubby doing?
Angie & Puzz ~ still negative?
He's fairly sick. He's running fever of about 100 degrees and coughing and tells me he feels like a truck hit him. He still has his sense of taste and smell though and an appetite. He is the kind of person that is always doing something, so he feels like he needs to get up and do stuff. I keep having to fight him to go lie down and rest.
Sorry to hear this! My coworker took herself to urgent care 3 hours after she tested positive and go the plaxlovid. She says the worst of her experience was the taste of the medicine. She's back to work (Dr. said after 5 days she was good to come back) Her son didn't get it, so fingers crossed that you'll stay clean too. I've tested negative several times, so hopefully....
Still negative
He the only person I know that didnt lose his smell or taste like me. Im glad he has an appetite, I was nauseous.
Hopefully the double vax and double booster helps keep him out of the hospital.
